I walked over here while waiting for repairs. I was the first customer in as they opened. The lady greeted me as I sat down and came to the table shortly after. The menu looked really good. I had a long drive to make, so I settled for the special that day, chicken enchiladas with verde sauce. I was expecting the food rating to be "its aight, it's not bad". No, my food was absolutely flavorful, hot, and the portions are good. I was surprisingly taken back after my first bite of the enchiladas. Complementary chips and salsa as well. Now the salsa that comes with the chips is a bit boring, so add one or both bottles you see there. Help em out a little bit 😌 Big screen TV with good music playing at the time. Come watch the game, kick back with some modelo and margaritas. I Love the decorations in the place. I am giving an overall 4 because the server should double-check the money count. I gave the exact change of the bill in order to tip, and I received some cents change back. Not a problem, she corrected it. Con Madre wasn’t just a restaurant, it was a rabbit hole that helped me unite better with my culture, the Californian burrito was overall my favorite as its ingredients all perfectly complemented each others, additionally the chorizo burrito was also another wonderful option, the service was over the top, as my party was quickly sat down, and came by to consult my party throughout our dining.
