Roanoke Park — Attraction in Roanoke

This is a clean, well-maintained park in a good location. The pavilion has abundant seating. There are several large trees around to provide shade on hot days. The playground has more than plenty to keep kids busy. The basketball court is level and well-paved, and the hoops are in excellent condition. I did not use the tennis courts, but their appearance was up to par with the rest...

Very lovely very simple but enjoyable for little children. Don't appreciate teenagers hanging out and bringing knives and illegal drugs there setting horrible examples for the young children the was designed for. Oh it was shameful that these teenagers "TP" the whole children's playground, swings and all, yet the basketball and tennis court...

A nice park to visit. Large shelter with picnic tables. Nice playground equipment. Has tennis courts. Very nice creek with a bridge across it. Wood nearby that may have a walking trail. We did not explore it on this visit. Adequate parking for the size of the park. Great areas so you can sit on a blanket or bring a chair to n just read...
