We visited Parker Grace for my birthday. We were a party of 3. The building itself is very cute, everything looks like it was thrifted and antique. Lunch was served in an Indiana Glass Hen which I thought was so cute. The staff was very friendly. All the baked goods & lunch options were very yummy. The tea was delicious.
Now for the reason I rated 4/5 stars: -our waitress was a little frazzled with us for some reason? I’m sure it was a busy day & busy in the kitchen however she brought out the wrong tea for one is us (quickly corrected), she forgot to bring out one of the items ordered (was very apologetic and kindly took it off the bill), and she seemed to ask every other table if they were celebrating a special occasion except us. -we ordered three scones (so good) and in the description it said it would be served with jam and clotted cream. One of the staff members brought out the tiniest amount of clotted cream and stated “you can all share that”. When I asked to have more brought out, they only brought out one more tiny dish. No jam in sight. In my opinion, there should have been a small dish served with each scone. (Tiny dishes of clotted cream in pictures) -I would love to see Parker Grace offer a “high tea” option. One where it’s brought out on the three tiered plates & made up of baked goods and...
Read moreThis old house is now a charming tea room. The moment we stepped inside, we felt like we were in a fairy tale with tea cups and pots on shelves and windowsills as well as feminine touches throughout the room. As I am a tea drinker, tea is a must-have. Despite the summer heat, I still ordered hot peach and ginger tea served in a cute pot. The server (unfortunately, I didn’t get her name) was kind and pampered us. I ordered the quiche of the day—the broccoli and cheese. The filling melts in your mouth. Our friend ordered the signature Chicken Divan served in a cute chicken dish, while Mom had a chicken salad puff shaped into a heart. If you have to pick one side, it is the strawberry pretzel, a three-layer salad with a pretzel crust, a cream cheese filling, and strawberry jello on top, which can pass for dessert, which we, unfortunately, did not have because of time. It was also delightful to see girls dressed up as princesses for the day, as one of them celebrated her birthday. This tea is indeed fit...
Read moreI recently hosted my daughter’s baby shower at this beautiful tea room, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The venue was decorated so beautifully, with such thoughtful attention to detail that made the day feel truly special. The food was amazing — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.
The staff was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The space was spotless and welcoming, and we loved that there was even a charming boutique upstairs to browse through.
We held the shower in a semi-private room off the main dining area, which created the perfect intimate atmosphere while still feeling part of the lively tea room. Every guest commented on how lovely the setting and experience were.
I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend this tea room for any event or even just a delightful...
