Honestly I was so excited to come here since I love bubble tea and have had in several different places but never Kung Fu Tea. I do not like ever review things and usually take things with a grain of salt but this experience was probably the worst I have ever had sadly at any type of service place. I went in after an appointment at Mayo since I thought it would be a pick me up. I ordered my drink and they miss heard what I said at the beginning which I asked for Taro milk tea and they confused it with caramel so I just said, “Sorry I meant Taro”. Then when I paid for it and got the drink I said that the drink I was given had a lot of sugar which was way to much for me and felt like 4 times more than what I had asked (only asked for 50% sugar) and did not taste anything like taro and was like nuts and caramel together. It was very odd. They said they could not do anything like make me a new drink unless if I paid again. So I asked what they could do which was give me some black tea to “water it down”. So I said ok could I have a cup of that so I could put it in a cup at my hotel. They said no. I asked why and they just said they could only dump out some and then add more black tea them selves. At this point I was kind of confused about everything and just said sure. When I was talking to the girl she kept looking at her co-workers and were giving me weird looks and when she put more tea in they kept saying things like “you got this girl” to their co-worker and things that were very sarcastic not directly towards me but you know what I mean. That is just not cool at all. Very sad I had this experience since I wanted this to be a place I could go to after my appointments and not some place I would not ever even want to look at again anywhere ever. I also got sick just from having a few sips from how sugary it was if that tells you anything when I was heading back to the hotel. Read morePlaced an order through the KFT app at 7pm for delivery. the App contracts UberEats to do the actual delivery part. I get a call from the UberEats driver saying the store is closed they can’t get in and I need to talk to the store to get a refund. I called the store and they answered saying that they didn’t make the order because they were closed at 7:30 (I called 7:35) I informed the guy I put the order in at 7. He then proceeded to say “well we had no indication you were coming.” I then again told him I placed the order for delivery, the guy from the store then said “we don’t offer delivery.” (I have been ordering delivery off the KFT app for 3 years now, I have given this place a lot of business, I know how this works.) It looked disgusting and tasted just as awful! Requested to just cancel the order and get a refund but they refused. Threw drink in trash. Wasted $7.60
Other times I went it was fine. I’ve been a regular weekly customer for some time now. I’m not sure how I feel about returning after this experience. It’s always surprising when a business is willing to lose a regular customer over something they could’ve easily resolved especially when there’s no shortage of competition nearby.
