However, during my first visit, what caught me off guard was the pricing of the popcorn bags. Walking out with four bags for a total of $79, especially when two of those bags made up the majority of the cost ($50), was a bit of a surprise.

While the quality of the popcorn is undeniable, the price point did give me pause, reflecting perhaps a premium market perception that not everyone might be prepared for. Despite this, my wife, an avid shopper at Popcorn Papa, has always spoken highly of their offerings, suggesting that for many, the unique flavors and nostalgic experience are well worth the price. While the cost might be a consideration for some, the delightful atmosphere and delicious popcorn make Popcorn Papa a worthwhile visit for those willing to indulge a little in the name of quality and a trip down memory lane.

The two young ladies that served us were quiet. The could use a little more smiling, nevertheless, my visit was fun and it was good to be in a place that took me back into the small town of Laie Hawaii where we'd go after school to buy candy....

My husband visited 3 days prior and was supposed to order 30 bags of Dallas mix for our wedding welcome bags. He bought tons of candy and six kinds of popcorn, but he forgot to order. Thankfully, the crew at Papa took care of my request shortly after we sorted out the mix-up, and we spoiled our guests with a local treat.
