Ms. Cheri Pelt needs to improve her attitude, customer service skills, or both. 2. Room not ready when I arrived. 3. Air conditioner not able to cool room during the day. 4. Only partial breakfast was available. 5. Day 2 housekeeping didn't bother to refresh room. 6. Day 3 Key reader has trouble reading card indicating weak batteries (lack of routine maintenance). 7. TV remote doesn't work. 8. Replacement remote didn't work. 9. Housekeeping arrives after 4pm,opens the door without first knocking/announcing herself. 10. Shared my experience with Ms. Pelt; her response: a very snarky "well you came back didn't you". Well yeah but only because I had a raging migraine and you were the closest hotel. SMH. The best thing about this place is meeting Paula the weekend breakfast room attendant. She is a a gem. I saw her helping an elderly couple, greeting everyone, stopping by every table to make sure everything was good. Whatever BW+ is paying her, it doesn't begin to compensate her for the ability to leave a positive impression about the place as a whole on everyone. I read the response from the owner. Sure is different from the response I received through email. I did PAY to have a private room. However, the other people that came with me and were sharing had to wait longer than I did. If a shared room really was available then why were they told to wait. You state that check in time is 3pm? My company's personnel show up at your establishment every week by the DOZENS. You're taking the money gladly but there was never any mention of a 3pm check in time. You say that you weren't aware of the issues I stated in my review. Then Cheri is just a plain old liar. I am dropping the rating from 2 stars to 1 because of the "we are doing the customer a favor by allowing them to spend their hard earned money with...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed here this past weekend for my cousin's wedding, my brother also stayed here. The first problem we had was that my credit card and my brother cards were declined. We had both used our cards earlier that morning, so we weren't sure what was going on. We checked the bank accounts and saw that each time she swiped my card it was being temporarily authorized on our side. it was weird but we got it all figured out & Brittany was really great to work with. She really helped us a lot. Then we go up to our room and it reaks of cigarettes, even thoguh it says NO SMOKING all over the hotel. The floors in the entry and the bathroom were greasy & slippery. We were really just their to sleep so that didn't matter too much, we just cleaned the floors ourselves. Then the next problem we had was on saturday night after the wedding, it was about 4 am... my husband and I were dead asleep, when all of a sudden the phone rings.. I was like what the heck.. so we did not answer it but then they called again. We answered this time and were asked what we were doing up in our room.. I still do not know exactly who called, idk if it was the front desk or another person from the wedding. The people from the wedding were definitely being rowdy & really loud in the hallway, but if that is why they were calling us, maybe they shoud have their hotel staff actaully investigate the noise complaints instead of calling random rooms at 4 am. I still do not 100 % know that it was the front desk calling because I was still half asleep talking on the phone. Other than these few things, our stay was fine. We literally only slept and showered in the hotel, which it...
Read moreRoom was HALF cleaned when we arrived, even the hateful woman at the front desk stated "I'm pretty sure they weren't completely done cleaning that room when I put you in it." I had my dog with me and they put us RIGHT BESIDE the door and the laundry area for the house keeping. Which was a complete idiotic thing to do. All the noise, people talking and house keeping coming in early in the morning banging carts up against our door is of course gonna make my dog bark and think someone was trying to get in. He's a protector! They made it seem like he was a terrible dog and said they received complaints. Well next time when you have guests with pets DONT PUT THEM NEAR HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS! I myself worked at a hotel and I'd never ever put anyone with pets near a door or high traffic area. And if I could help it the rooms on each side of my guest with a pet would remain empty so I knew the fur baby could have a good night's rest with no noise to interrupt. The ONLY good thing about this place was the pool, hot tub, and the breakfast. The first woman to serve us breakfast our first two nights was rude! Never asked of everything was okay or nothing. The 3rd morning was amazing! The African American woman asked several times if I needed anything, was everything good etc. Such a sweetheart for sure! If I can avoid it I won't be back...
