Picture this: I walked into Texas Roadhouse expecting a meal, but what I found was an interdimensional portal to BREADTASTROPHE! They were so soft, I thought I might actually fall into them and wake up in the Land of Enchanted Carbs!
But the REAL magic happened when I met the honey cinnamon butter. I spread it on that roll, and suddenly, it was like being smacked in the senses by an army of tiny, joyful flavor ninjas! 🥷💥 It was as if a sweet honey bee and a party-loving cinnamon wizard teamed up to create the ultimate potion of deliciousness! I might have shed a tear of joy or two—this was the kind of experience that makes you question every life choice leading up to this very moment. “Why did I waste time on boring snacks?” I yelled dramatically, while onlookers gawked at my extreme buttery enthusiasm.
I’m pretty sure I heard angels singing “Hallelujah!” as I took that first luxurious bite. By the time my meal was over, I could feel the weight of the world lifted off my shoulders and replaced with a buttery embrace that cradled my soul! 🍇💖
If I could marry the rolls and honey cinnamon butter, I wholeheartedly would. In fact, I’m ready to start a petition for them to be served at every major life event: weddings, birthdays, just random Tuesday evenings! Who needs a wedding cake when you can have ROLL CAKE layered with HONEY CINNAMON BUTTER? I might just show up at my own wedding with a roll bouquet, and I’m not even sorry!
So, if you haven’t surrendered to the absurdity and delight of these rolls and that magical honey cinnamon butter, do yourself a favor and dive in! Your taste buds will throw a celebration that will rival any Oscar-winning film premiere, and you’ll walk out questioning how you ever lived without this divine doughy...
Read moreCalled ahead on a Sunday to have a table reserved, was told to be here by 5:30 or we would lose our spot. Get there on time wait another 25 minutes for our table. Then we get seated at a table too small for our party and are told we can take it or wait another hour to an hour and a half. We decide to uncomfortably sit at the table and eat.
This is where the service was horrible. We didn’t get enough bread for the entire table, had to wait, then got a small basket with enough bread for half the table. We ordered appetizers, only got one. When we asked about the second app the server looked like he forgot to put it in with our order, and then our food came as we raised the issue, asked them to cancel the order and just ate our entrees.
The entrees were horrible. My wife’s steak was over cooked. Her mom and nieces were under cooked, I ordered a burger because I don’t trust them enough to cook a steak halfway well, and my medium rare burger was served well done. I just didn’t care enough to send it back since my wife just told me to endure it and move on.
After the lackluster meal we get or tickets and my wife’s meal was charged incorrectly, the ticket needing to be adjusted. My sister in law also had been charged for an 8 oz steak instead of a 6oz which is what she ordered for her daughter. They also tacked on an extra dollar from the menu price which the server seemed annoyed to credit. I decided to just pay the balance and call it a night, but it ended up taking an additional 15 minutes to get the other check adjusted and for the server to say they can’t correct the 8pm to a 6oz because he misunderstood, she ate the majority of it and he couldn’t verify if it was a 6 or 8.
Needless to say I understand it’s busy, it’s a Sunday evening, but there were 4-5 servers hanging around chatting and every time we needed something we had to flag someone down who just went to the back to get our server, which took an additional 5-10 minutes. The service was lousy, the food was overcooked or under cooked. Not one order correct. Why anyone would willingly come here to eat when there are at least 10 other restaurants nearby that are comparable in price and better in quality is beyond me.
And yes I would never choose to go to a Texas Roadhouse if I had my way, but our visiting guests were excited to try this “Legendary” restaurant. I wish I could give negative stars but a 1 star review will...
Read moreI went close to 3:00 p.m. on a sunday. I opted to sit at the bar as there was a long wait and you could see a lot of people waiting for tables. The place was pretty packed except for the bar area so I sat down and was greeted by a very Dynamic and enthusiastic bartender. I ended up having a club soda and lime with the Steakhouse salad. I tried their rolls and cinnamon butter which of course were very good and came out nice and warm. The Steakhouse salad was quite excellent, they used two different kinds of dressings and Italian over the lettuce and then some blue cheese dressing off on the side. They cook the steak to order either medium or medium rare and it includes bacon crumbles, extra cheese, tomatoes, red onion and very tasty herbed croutons. I enjoyed the salad very much. There were plenty of TVs showing women's basketball which I thoroughly enjoyed as well as hockey and football. One of the TVs showed music videos from the music that was playing over the speaker which was also enjoyable. I liked the atmosphere, it seemed like a very lively place, and obviously very popular. If you have never been, as I haven't before today, it is very similar to an Outback steakhouse, you can get a good quality steak for a very reasonable price and it comes with appetizers and other things such as chicken plates and salads and desserts. I had fun and I will probably be back. There is plenty of parking around the restaurant. 4/12/24- update. I went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner and ordered an 8 oz sirloin with sauteed mushrooms and a loaded baked potato. The steak was absolutely delicious, very juicy and had wonderful little grill marks on it. I polished it off within apple pie alamode which was also very good. All in all I enjoyed my experience, it was a Friday night so it was still very crowded but I was able to...
