I don't think I'll ever shop here again. My husband and I bought a couch for our new house in June of 2022. The salesman we had convinced us to get a leather power-reclining couch. We have pets and a child so we were concerned about the leather tearing from animal claws and everyday activities. He ensured us the leather was super strong and it would not be an issue. When the couch was delivered, there was a spot on it that looked like it was a patch that was repaired in the leather. And in no time at all, there were plenty of scratches from cat/dog claws. Our pets aren't even rough on furniture, so we were upset by this because of how much we spent on the couch. Shortly after, the mechanical part underneath the couch started to go bad like it wasn't aligning right. We had a tech come out and look at it, and he replaced the framing piece on one side. It was fine for a little while, but then it started happening again but even worse on the other side. We had a tech come out again, and he basically said it was too much to fix in-home so we would need to send it out to their warehouse to have it fixed. It took a very long time for customer service to even call us about this to set it up. We were told over the phone that it would take 2 weeks to repair, and then they were going to void our warrantee because we used it "too much". I'm sorry, but isn't that the point of a warrantee - to have it fixed when it breaks? They picked up the couch on 12/27, and when they were hauling it outside they did a lot of damage to our walls going down the stairs. They never apologized for this or anything. My husband had to patch the holes they left and repaint the entire stairway. It got to be 2 weeks later and we still heard nothing from them about the status. We called and they said they had to order more parts for it so it was going to take longer. We got a call on 1/19 saying it was done and they would be delivering it on 1/24. They said they would call us the morning of to give us a timeframe for drop-off. It is now 1/24 at 10am, and they still hadn't called with the timeframe. We called their customer service, and they said that they actually won't be able to deliver it until next Wednesday 1/31, and that the rep from last week must have misspoke. Are you kidding me?! We were told 2 weeks for the whole thing, and by the time 1/31 rolls around it'll have been 5 weeks. How is this acceptable? We don't have other living room furniture, so we have been using a bean bag chair and a rocking chair from our baby nursery as our main seating for weeks. I am 7 months pregnant, and obviously this is very uncomfortable for me. I also work from home a majority of the time, so it has been a real pain in the butt to not have something comfortable to sit on. I am very disappointed in the sales department as well as the customer service department with Hom Furniture. Read moreWe came to HOM today looking for a few things for our home. A bunk bed for our toddler, and a new couch and possibly a chair. We left with a bunk bed. Our salesperson was great. She was great with handling us with our three year old and our infant. She was knowledgeable and kind, without pressuring us. She was the saving grace for this visit. The visit went sour when we went to pay for our items. We have a credit account with HOM from a prior purchase that was still in use. The finance person immediately gave a lot of attitude when I went up there to discuss the finance terms. The options were 6 and 12 months at 0%. Or 36 month at 9.99%. The problem that we encountered was the credit itself. When we got the credit account originally, we were under the impression that it was a credit card, which is very common for other companies that offer credit. Apparently, HOM offers not a credit card, but a line of credit which is completely different. I was curious about the 36 month which had a promotion as well as I saw in the store advertised. 36 month, 0% down etc. she said that our purchase didn’t qualify for it because we are existing card holders. She then said that if we went with the 36 month we would have to pay for the taxes and delivery up front. I sad that’s fine and wanted to pay with the HOM credit. She got aggravated and stated that’s not what the account is for. For the HOM credit, they send a card out to you but you cannot actually use the card. She got agitated saying she doesn’t understand why they send out cards because customers cannot even use them. The up front payment would have to be paid with another form of payment. I felt rightfully confused as I have never not been able to use a l credit card or a line of credit to exclusively cover a purchase. Her attitude worsened when I kept asking questions. I eventually just said to just go with the 12 month 0%. I signed some things and she started to answer the phone. I was still sort of confused and the salesperson we had explained very well the answers to my questions. That’s really all that the finance person had to do. But instead, she chose to make me feel dumb and unappreciated. HOM in rogers is very close to our home, so it’s convenient to go there, and we are newer to the area. But I am quickly remembering why we never really bought anything from HOM in the past. This attitude and treatment of customers with how the world is today won’t bode well for HOM. Read moreHOM furniture in Rogers is amazing! I will seriously never purchase furniture anywhere other than HOM. The sales representatives are so helpful and there is never a hassle if something does not work out. I recently purchased a sectional and had worked with Jae and Amanda, both of which were extremely helpful and super pleasant to work with! I loved the couch but when I got it into my space, it did not look right. I was super disappointed because I loved the couch but would need something different. I was also worried about the return process due to experiences with other furniture companies. I had myself worried for nothing! I went in and worked with Annette who was so awesome at helping me to find something that would work in my space after describing to her my farmhouse theme. She immediately brought me to a couch that totally fit the look. She showed me several other selections but I went right back to the first one. She also reassured me that all would work out with the exchange and that they would pick the old couch up, no problem! Once we got the couch picked out and a few other items, Annette took me to checkout where I worked with Julie on the exchange, delivery, and coordinating some other deliveries that I had coming. My transaction was a little complicated with all I had going on ( I am never an easy customer) but Julie was so awesome and patient and got everything coordinated for me even consolidating some of my orders into one delivery! The only thing that we did not have was the ETA on the new couch but Jae called me the day before delivery as it had come in and got it all coordinated with my other items!! Within a little over a week I got my couch picked up and got the new one that I absolutely LOVE along with everything else. The delivery guys were wonderful, super professional, got things put together and had me check everything before they left to make sure all was satisfactory.
