This has been my husband and my go to Caribou for years. I have seen management changes over the years. Some great, some terrible. There is a storm at this store. Beginning with the manager. What store allows a customer to walk out without their drink? A drink that they have paid for. Twice this has happened to my husband. He walked out because the service has been so awful and slow. He needed to get to work. Waiting 20 mins for an Americano is unacceptable, as it is one of the easiest drinks to make there. NO customer should have to wait 20 mins for any drink. The worst part is, he went back later the same day, the manager had a perfect opportunity to make the situation from the morning right but no she didn't. Afterall, she was the one to have waited on him that morning. Terrible management skills. How can staff work without the tools that they need. No half n half? Seriously, you are a coffee shop . THAT IS A MAINSTAY. The service over the last few months has been so slow. Drive thru lines out to the service road. Lines inside, to the door. All the while the manager is chatting away NOT WORKING. There is also the fact that the hard working staff that had been there a while are quitting at an exponential rate. I understand turnover, I am a food manager myself. However, the rate of employees quitting is an indicator that something is amiss in the management. Being a regular, I will try to continue to support this store but certainly NOT before work! I will seek other Caribous that I know can get the order right and timely. It is a problem, when I complain of the Rogers caribou to another store and THEY have heard from others say the same thing. That tells me that regular customers are seeking other Caribous as well to meet their AM needs. This is just the AM complaints... I know there are more because I've been here in the afternoon on a weekend and there is a long drive thru line... without a sports tourney in the area! Sad...
Read moreBeen here a couple times before. The staff is very nice and the inside of the building is cozy. Went through the drive-thru one time though and the small iced matcha vanilla tea latte had so much ice! It was like having a taste sample of the drink. Ice with a drink on the side. I’ll now remember to always state to any Caribou, “light on the ice, please” because I finished the drink so quickly. Even when I was pacing myself on it, it was gone because the ice made it seem like a lot more liquid was in there. Taste wise, the drink was great! I’d definitely get it again with little ice. I also ordered a glazed donut since they ran out of the chocolate glazed ones. This is what actually disappointed me deeply that day. There was barely any glaze on the donut. It was literally a plain donut. I was just so confused why I couldn’t taste the glaze and that was because it was barely there. It was so light, at first glance it looks like a plain donut but looking close enough you’d see a bit of glaze. Really sucked...
Read moreI’m not one to complain but in the last few months this place has gone down hill. Before this summer I NEVER had an issue with this store. I frequent it multiple times a week and lately service has been slow like 20 mins with 1 person in from of me slow, employees visibly messing around instead of doing their job, and drinks that are so different from what they are supposed to be. Yesterday I got a coffee I get all the time (nitro high rise with 1 pump of pumpkin and when I got to the window I could tell it was wrong and asked her to make a new one (she handed me a black cold brew coffee not even close to what I had ordered) she remade it and it was still wrong. At this point I felt weird and the employee was getting rude so I left. $7.56 down the drain for a small cup of cold brew mind didn’t even have pumpkin syrup or milk so what did I pay for? If we are going to charge people this much can we at least get what’s on the menu and have it be...
