The Zone is the perfect place for families of all ages as well as those with extra needs! The themed decor is too cute and the music that goes along with it provides a fun and relaxing atmosphere! The facility is very clean; I was impressed! The staff was extremely helpful in assisting us with multiple questions on our first visit, and took the extra time to listen to my son, who is on the Autism Spectrum, and wanted to do some extra socializing and hold conversation with the employee. I have also taken his sister once before and she highly enjoyed it as well! I'll be bringing them back together soon now that they've both tried it out successfully! The prices are really affordable. There is a wide variety of many arcade games! The claw machines actually work well, unlike most arcades I have been too! We won two giant ticket rolls at the same time worth 900 and 150 tickets in our first round! The prize shop has A LOT to choose from and is actually really ticket cost efficient unlike many over ticket-priced prize shops in your typical arcade!! I also like that the tickets are loaded and saved onto your play card as you play games, rather than having to carry around paper tickets that are easy to lose. The play area and bounce houses are really fun for kids and their parents to try together! There is also a smaller enclosed area with bouncy balls and soft building blocks and shapes... this is great for younger kids as well as those with sensory needs such as my 7 y.o. son! He enjoyed kicking the balls freely, and laying around on the soft padding! He was able to relax and feel at ease. There is also a tall and long slide that's beneficial for those with sensory needs. There is a rollerskating rink for adults and children, which also includes the option of a rolling skating-trainer for little ones. Skate lessons are offered as well. There is a snack and drink bar for extra cost with plenty of seating areas! I believe there is laser tag as well as a mechanical bull, but we haven't tried those yet. I'm one happy Momma with happy kiddos! I reccomend The Zone for an indoor play day and for any special events or...
Read moreI took 4 boys ages 9 -13. I paid $60 for the 4 person deal on Laser tag, Laser maze, $5 arcade card, and 4 medium drinks. Not a bad deal. I did have a few issues. Laser tag was awesome and definitely worth it. Especially because there was another team of kids playing against us. If you want to do Laser tag, make sure you'll be playing against someone else. It's much more fun than playing against each other. We did have a time slot reserved and ended up having to find someone to start the game 10 minutes past our reserved time. Laser maze was disappointing and the boys were really looking forward to it. Make sure to ask one of the employees how to play. It probably would have been a better experience instead of following the guide posted by the entrance. Don't waste your money on the novelty coin machines by the entrance. It's a hit or miss if you even get a prize. When we were jipped, we were told there's nothing they can do about it. I get it. It's a silly vending machine. I informed the staff and they did credit our arcade card. No complaints at all about the skating rink. They will definitely be sore tomorrow! I gave 3 stars because of the Laser tag issue, the laser maze confusion, the vending machines, and one of the staff really didn't care about the few issues we had. I get that this is probably just a little part time job for high schoolers but, the gentleman I originally brought our issues to, just didn't care to help the boys. There was another gentleman there that was super friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a cool place to take your kids to. We spent 4 hours there and the time flew by because they do have a lot to offer. The boys had an amazing time and fell asleep before we even hit the interstate. There's absolutely nothing to do in St. Robert so this was a welcomed escape. We'll definitely be back. Just maybe not spend...
Read moreI am really disappointed to be writing this review. I booked a bday party for my twin daughters in advanced. We got there and stood in a long line. The people at the front told us to go to the party check in which we could not find and I had to ask around, it was a tiny table in the middle of the building. They kept calling one of my daughter's the wrong name and I corrected them several times and even had them write it so they would get it right on her birthday announcements. Her name is Hailey and they kept calling her Harley. We had already been there about 30 to 45 min and it was so unorganized. They told us they bring the pizza and drinks at the same time and the arcade money at the end??? Ok we only get 1.5 hrs and we still had nothing yet at that point. The lady finally brought us drinks and food and the pizza was all burnt at the bottom but we didn't have time to return it before loosing our party table. Then while singing happy birthday to my daughters the lady kept asking me if I wanted the check now and I missed my daughter's blowing out their candles. I spent 150.00 on a party that was worth maybe 10 bucks. Don't waste your money and be disappointed like me.
