Regency Inn — Hotel in Rolla

We arrived at 6:00pm when check in is at 4:00pm, check in went fine. We drove to our room and the door was open so my husband popped his head in and the maid said our room wouldn’t be ready for 30 minutes. We left to get dinner and when we came back it was ready. When we got back I wanted to wash my face with no hot water, within 5 minutes of being back in the room we got a call from the front desk asking if we wanted an “upgrade” to the super 8. We both were tired at that point and said no this is fine…… well, we checked the bed as normal and notice a stain on what we thought was the sheets, we pulled the sheets back to notice a large blood stain. I DO NOT recommend staying here. They got ROACHES. Tried to Stay there last week (8/9/24) and it was a BIG NO. Our first room (36) looked hardly touched from people before, the front desk person had to let us in our room every time because the card reader didn’t work at the door. The smoked detector was ripped out of the wall, air conditioning unit was barely hanging on the the wall, the list goes on. After less than 30 minutes I told him it wasn’t going to work and needed something else so they “upgraded” us to room 37. It was a bit better. Not much cleaner, toilet paper was pretty much empty, dust everywhere. The COCKROACH is what sent us over the end. We had to get out of there after that. this was an extremely unprofessional establishment. it is nothing as the pictures have shown, it smells awful. the comforters are stained along with the brown stains on the sheets. the tv did not work, along with smelly towels. also would not recommend looking under the bed as you'll see old wrappers/dirt. staff was extremely rude and had the worst attitude towards every member staying here, when we asked for assistance with new blankets we were given snarky comments and were blatantly ignored. when we decided to leave and find elsewhere we asked for a refund and were told that if we leave a negative review we will not get our money refunded. we received $30 of the $86 used due to the up charge of $10 for checking in early. overall terrible, somethings are just too...
