After ten years of pain I'm on the road to recovery. I have suffered from chronic, debilitating low back and hip pain for over ten years. I dreaded getting out of bed in the morning because the minute I tried to stand the spasms would start. It would take about an hour each day to be able to move fluidly after stretching, heating and showering. The spasms were exacerbated by walking, especially uneven ground, and by wearing a shoe with any type of heel at all, even a small wedge and by lifting. The pain causes me to avoid standing for long periods of time and to avoid a lot of walking so vacations and outings with friends are often very challenging but I typically would take pain meds and stretch and push through. I would rarely be focused on enjoying experiences and just trying to manage. Stairs and inclines were avoided and I sat as often as I could. I would also like to say that I have tried acupuncture, chiropractic, deep tissue massage and yoga. All of these offered some relief but I was always aware of the pain and unless I was extremely regimented about everything and my morning routine, as well as never walking or standing too much or wearing any heels the pain would ramp right up again. I have never had a day without pain that is for sure and it made my life very limited. I have no disc issues, just as a side.
Now the amazing news. I happened upon Eclipse as I was walking into Dunkin next door and limped in the door (plantar faciatus and hip cramping) to see what they were about and the whole world changed. I have been doing the cryo tank and getting T shock treatments on my hip and foot for about three weeks, twice a week. Suffice to say that I attended a festival with a lot of walking yesterday and enjoyed the entire day without ever wishing I was home, sitting down or noticing any major pain except on the walk back to the car, up a long incline at the end of the day. At that point I was ready to sit down for sure. I did take Aleve and I wore a Salon Pas patch but that is standard when I attend something like this and I have never had the relief that I experienced yesterday. I have felt so much better but I knew this festival would be a real test of how I was doing. I expected to be nearly crippled this morning and for a few days afterwards and I am up and around with minimal pain. This has not happened in over 10 years after a day like yesterday and I have not had a cryo treatment for five days. I'm due to go tomorrow.
It has been life altering meeting Hannah and starting this treatment. I have a wedding next weekend which I am no longer dreading! The T shock is the thing for this type of chronic pain. The tank treatments have addressed my fibromyalgia pain. I am almost asymptomatic. My daughter couldn't turn her head for two days and was home in bed with pain in her upper back waking up anytime she shifted positions in her sleep. One T shock treatment at 7 pm and she slept through the night and was up and around the next day with a great reduction in pain and increase in range of motion. She didn't even need a second treatment and was just better each day.
I know it all sounds too good to be true, you just have to go and do it yourself. Every person I have told thinks I'm crazy at first and then suddenly they have an appointment lol. Hannah make it easy to try with intro prices and packages and they will work with you to make a custom package if they don't have exactly what you need. As for me, I'm hooked on cryo therapy and have no problem traveling the 25 minutes twice a week to Eclipse for the treatment. Thank...
Read moreLife changing! Love this place!! I actually didn’t know what cryo was at first... I was so confused when a friend recommended it to me but then I saw it on the housewives and decided to give it a shot for my pain. I’ve been in pain for years now from an adjustment a horrible chiropractor did, on top of that I have arthritis which doesn’t help the situation. For years now I’ve gone to numerous doctors/physical therapists to try to undo what the chiropractor did to my hip.... but resulted in lots of time and money down the drain. So I figured I had nothing to lose at this point and went to eclipse to see what they had to offer. The lady at the desk was extremely helpful, I told her my situation and she recommended that I try cryotherapy but had to be committed to ten sessions for my situation. The last thing I wanted to do was make another commitment to try something new but was desperate not to be in pain anymore so figured why not.... I’m so happy I did!!!!! For the first time in YEARS I’m not waking up in the middle of the night in pain. People actually notice I’m walking different and make comments.... I didn’t even realize my pain was that noticeable to others. I started noticing the difference in the 7th session!! I still have a little pain every now and then but plan on continuing the cryotherapy to see if it completely goes away but to be honest I’m happy even if it just stays at this level!!!! I’m so happy my friend told me about this place, it’s definitely changed my life!! Can’t wait to try this float thing they have too when I have time, it looks...
Read moreEclipse Cryo and Float was recommended to me 9 months ago to help in my recovery of a torn hip labrum. What an incredible find!!! In addition to speeding up my healing, cryotherapy has helped me sleep better, enhanced my emotional health, and has given me a great endorphin boost every time I complete a session.
Eclipse Cryo and Float is a one stop body rejuvenation spa. Not only do I love to go into the cryo machine for 3 minutes at a time, I have also used the infrared sauna, NormaTec therapy , cryo facial and cryo spot treatments. The 45 minute sauna sessions rid your body of toxins, and you feel great afterwards too. NormaTec gently massages sore muscles while restoring function to the lymphatic system and restores balance to the body. The cryo facial leaves your face dewy and youthful, while cryo spot treatments help by directly using the cold therapy on a specific area.
Hanan and her staff are very knowledgeable as well as fun to be around, and oftentimes many clients just hang out after their scheduled sessions to chat. I look forward to my visits, and have made new friends at Eclipse Cryo. Hanan always welcomes me with open arms, and has gone above and beyond in her customer service. Even Cocco, Hanan’s Yorkie, greats everyone with enthusiasm.
