Manhattan Bagel — Restaurant in Roseland

I order here at least once a week & have never had an issue. I call in to pick up my BEC on a french toast bagel on my way to work but usually don’t end up eating my bagel until noon. This morning I called to order the usual BEC on a french toast bagel again, picked it up, went into work. Didn’t bother to look at the bagel until lunch time (shame on me) and saw that I was given a SALT bagel instead… I’m not sure how this was confused because the lady on the phone definitely asked me twice for confirmation what type of bagel I wanted. French toast and Salt bagel are not even close in sound to get them confused. Now my bagel is ruined because the BEC in combination with the SALT bagel is just way too...

Unfortunately, the food is very good. I say this because today, as my daughter and I were ordering our food, an employee was trying to replace a lightbulb. This wouldn’t be an issue if he wasn’t above the cash register where we were ordering. He dropped a bulb and it nearly landed on my daughters head. Glass went everywhere. Some landed on our feet but lucky there was no bleeding. It could’ve got in someone’s food. Employee who dropped it couldn’t stop laughing or giggling. Another employee in the kitchen joined him. I enjoy the food, but I likely will not...

$9 for a croissant with extra taylor ham and extra cheese. No egg. 4 pieces thin cut taylor ham... yesterday barely any lox on my sandwich. Also yesterday I guess there was a language barrier because she put cream cheese on my breakfast sandwich. And I also asked for a cold brew coffee. Instead she took coffee and threw ice in it.... I cant wait to go to the next job after this one so I dont have to come here anymore. At the point where I will just go to dunking donuts...
