This place is fantastic. I have pretty much ripped through the entire menu and still can't get enough. We had to eat out a bunch for a few weeks while work was being done to our kitchen. I was a big fan of Rezza and Stella does it better. Rezza had a similar menu, but Stella is just a step up. It like Rezza had a big brother that took it to the next step.
Salad -- Chopped...always. They do it right.
Pizza -- The Square is done right. Thin and crispy no matter the topping. I think it could stand up to some of the best
Meal -- Veal Milanese. Holy cow. Bone-in, thin and really crispy. Not usually my thing, but I think about it often. I'm a parm guy, but it's that good.
I've only eaten in once. The outside is awesome in the right months. The inside will certainly settle in. It is a very well run business and you can see the management cares. It's comforting when you see people looking checking on the tables and making sure everyone is being cared for. It's a tight ship It's not their first rodeo and it really shows.
It's great to have a place that you can grab a quick slice or have a great sit down meal.
Pro tip: It's a little bright, grab an outside table if the weather is right.
It's Rezza on steroids and Gio is a gem! I really...

Even if you think of their cooking not as Italian but as Italian American, it was very uneven and lacking.
First, our pasta dishes came out less than 5 minutes after ordering them which clearly means they are NOT made to order.
My "Pesto" dish was swimming in a flavorless green mess of I don't know what, but there was so much sauce it was like soup, and the sauce was awful. My associate's other pasta dish was also swimming in an awful sauce.
Gelato for dessert was fair - way too sweet.
The pizza was definitely American style, but, at least on the night we were there, they would not permit any substitutions or omissions. Clearly again suggests everything being pre-made, not made to order.
Some of the other items looked OK, such as the salads and sandwiches. If you end up here, a salad or sandwich is probably the safest bet.
Some reviewers say this is cooking they used to have at home. Not all home cooking is something to be emulated.
Not sure what this place is trying to be, but I cannot recommend it at all nor would I...
