First of all Rowlett is a special place full of genuinely wonderful people. Class act is the agreed-upon dominant mode of operation there which makes me wonder why it isn't that way in the rest of the country. Anyways I paid $4 for a 6 in 1 screwdriver today. It was an off-brand offering but it matched the husky offering pretty much verbatim accept different color handle. I would even argue that probably the alloys are identical when it comes off the same factory line. I had one of the Huskies previously and I would love to tell you it got destroyed but it didn't. It was swiped by jealous neighbor isyn...lol... Of course this doesn't stop my need to get things done so I had to hightail it to the depot a cough up my hard-earned $4. I checked out a bunch of other stuff in the store. They need to work on their flashlights election and especially headlight selection focusing on USB rechargeable items because this is going to be the direction generally the industry moves. High lumen intensity quick charge times 2 or 3:00 amps. We need a cheap offering that's waterproof and does those things on the head of the human because as the head pivots the light moves with it and it's always pointed the right way once you oriented and alignment such that it coincides with your vision. Dorky as we look with these things on it is a doubling of personal workforce because now a secondary hand is available. there should be a rechargeable high intensity waterproof auction around 20 to $30. Heck I'm an electrical engineer I might make that offering if nobody else is going to step...
Read moreHad my original recipe along with the dead plant in it's original pot, walked in going to the Customer Service desk, the employee a person of color was helping a guest. I was next in line, when I stepped up said," this is a return, handed my receipt. Employee named ANDRIEKKA scanned both plant & receipt, handed me another recipe &said your refund is $16.22 Not realizing what was said, I stepped away from the desk then it hit me. The plant was $23.96 then I turned right around back to the employee & asked why was I refunded only $16.22? When the original receipt clearly shows the $23.96 the plant was paid for? The employee claims the plant was marked down, all the time continued shaking there head no, I was told," I already refunded you the $16.22 I replied," I want all my money refunded back to my card, the full price. Eventually the employee did just that. But kept insisting the plant was marked down is on sale. After I was given my correct recipe, I walked back to the garden area to find the exact plant & it had NOT been marked down, it was the exact same price $23.96!!!!!!!!! Is that the behavior you tell your employees to cheat & lie to the customers?? Employee's name is ANDRIEKKA. I WAS OFFENDED 1'st if all @ the demer, all the gay rainbow attire said employee was wearing. The additude was horrible!!! No this isn't a race issue, as I am also a...
Read moreWe visited twice today. Both visits were mostly okay, but on the second visit we returned 3 items for a refund. 2 were on receipt lookup; one must have been another payment used. Rather than make the CR do two transactions, we said it was fine to do all 3 together as a return without receipt. The catch was it's on a Home Depot gift card. We needed a few items, so that was fine.
When we checked out, they couldn't find the merchandise credit against the driver's license used. The cashier asked if we'd just gotten it today. We confirmed and were told you can't use it same day. The refund was approximately $70, and we spent $89. That's after spending over $100 earlier today already. It would have been ideal to use the merchandise credit against that, but instead we had to pay the $89 and save the credit for another day. Had we been told this, we'd have had the CR do 2 transactions so we could at least get our money back on two of the items. Be aware of this when getting a merchandise credit if you plan to use it the same day. This was disappointing. We could have used more thorough information. I've never received a merchandise credit in which I had to wait a day or two to use it. Usually at most retailers, it's free to be used...
