I haven't been to this Winn-Dixie in a while due to my job taking me to a different area. I won't disclose that location. However, that particular location I will no longer go to when I need to shop. I do a lot of shopping for my clients and because I am already in a store, I will from time to time, pick things up for myself. In that particular Winn-Dixie, salads are always right near expiration date, veggie selection is terrible. Flowers are half dead or dying. I bring it to the managers attention and they do nothing. Now, I am back home and decided to return to this location. This was always my favorite store to shop. I was not disappointed when I returned! I am not sure what they do right at this store..management? Morale? Bonuses? Not that it's any of my concern, but what ever it is, they should probably use this store as an example for others in the area. The flowers are not dying, aisles are clean. There are plenty of associates to help customers. There was even a young man that offered to help me bring salt to my car (I think his name was John). This feels like a completely different store compared to the one only a 25 minute drive away. That's really not ideal. I think I'll just wait to shop here again instead of shopping at the one near my work. The pleasant nature of the associates in this store reminded me of why I used to love shopping here and why I will return. Maybe they'll see this, maybe they won't. But they really made a difference in a mundane task. That's why I used to enjoy this Winn-Dixie & now why I...
Read moreI come to the store quite often because it's close by where I live. Most of the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. The biggest problem that I see with the store and it continues and it has been going on for years. And it may be all Winn-Dixie's period is the price on the Shelf maybe it says it's on sale or something like that. Then you go to the cashier and it's the regular price. This happens all the time. And I have had several occasions to bring it to the attention of the cashier or the manager or what have you. It keeps happening. Also a lot of times there are no prices on the item or on the shelf. the cans in the store are dusty like the jelly, peanut butter, Beans. I see all the time that items in the store like Meats, cheese, canned vegetables, have mark down prices on them but they are out of date by the date on the item. these things I have to watch out for every time I come to the store. And it doesn't seem to change from week-to-week month-to-month it's always the same issues. This new Rewards Card they've got the Plenty. Is not as rewarding as the card They had before that that you could get shell gas and so on with. It takes forever to get any kind of points and it's only a few dollars. However they are connected to several other types of merchants gasoline and other stores that you can accumulate points through them also. However it still takes a while to get any...
Read moreNot to happy about the way they handled the shopping carts. They were remodeling the area for the shopping carts, and instead of conveniently placing some carts in the store or nearby they had nothing inside. When I did se a cart that looked like no one was using it I took it. A few minutes later and Employee approached me from the self check out area and said the cart was hers. You would think she would have took the 3 small items out and gave it to me the customer. The manager wasn't much better as he told me that the carts were out in the parking lot due to the renovation and that I should walk back out side where I just came from and get a new cart.(wow really) Doesn't he realize that if people had known there were no carts in the storage area before we came in the store, we wouldn't mind getting her own cards? How in the world would we know the carts that are usually in that particular area? Would not be there? That's their job to either collect the cards from the parking lot or have a visible sign. So people can see before they get in the store. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would have left and...
