China Gourmet — Restaurant in Royal Palm Beach

I always eat here. Been eating here for the last 2 or 3 years and the food is always on point. 90% not 100%

Sometimes too much vegetables (broccoli) in my meat dishes but i will not rate down 4 stars because of that. Because still 90 % of the time they are on target. Food has never tasted off or weird. Which is a rare thing to repeat consistently. For such as small restaurant they do give good food and value for the money. I am most times a critical person but i do give respect where respect is due.

Yes the lady at the front is a bit unpleasant 99% of the time. But I will not rate down for that. She supplies a service and that's that. She's all about the business so don't go there looking for smiles and have a nice day tactics. I'm totally fine with her in that regards. I bet my aunt once she couldn't make this lady smile. And my aunt is a huge huge people person. Lol. Took about 30 min or so to get a 1/4 smile while dining at the counter!

Anyhow, Just grab the food and go. That's what you came there for anyway. You'll be fine, your meals even better.

Lol after seeing someone over 100 times u may think u know a customer by name or have customer preference or privalidge. Forget that! It's all about the nice food and value for money when carrying home the family pack!

However I must say the lady is smart, and very efficient. I believe she doesn't need to know names of people. She picks up on accents and voices. If I order on the phone I know she knows me, and when I arrive she can hand me the package and have bill paid and leave without us exchanging a word. We're in sync mentally...

It was New Year's Eve And me and my daughter were hungry and decided to stop here It took almost an hour of waiting to get the food But only because it was New Year's Eve and we was slammed busy they screwed up our order a little bit by overcooking My chicken dish But I immediately called her and told her There was a problem with my order she said I will make you something else it will be ready when you get there and it was. It was hot it was delicious probably some of the best Chinese food I've tasted in a while . When it is not New Year's encourage you to give this hole in the wall Chinese restaurant a go , they are super nice and super friendly And will help you with any problems with your order . This place is the definition of a 'hole in the wall' restaurant that may not have the best aesthetics, but amazing food for a good price.

Pricing is fair, after the whole price hike that hit the US you're only paying 20 cents more than what hit most places, honestly a fair deal for a good meal. On top of it, the food prep time is always around 10-12 minutes.

Food and portioning is phenomenal. Lunch (up until 3:00pm) can last you the entire day because they give a hearty portion. Their sauce is thick and their General Tso's chicken has a soft crunch, but moist dark meat that is amazing to eat.

If you're local, give it a go. Honestly, compared to other Chinese restaurants that I've gone to this has to be one...
