'20/2 1st review, but first attended spring 2000: -- While non-denominational, this welcoming, warm, multi-cultural, multi-location Christian church is bible-teaching and spirit filled. -- The large, two-story Del Paso corner location is the original "Main-North" campus celebrating 40 years March 2020. -- The passionate, founding/Senior Pastor is still Dr. Phillip Goudeaux who grew up in the area as a foster youth. -- Super friendly, helpful ushers. -- One of the Campus locations is specific to the homeless in downtown Sacramento. -- There is a mens and womens live-in, one year Overcomer program (alcohol & substance abuse) within blocks of this main campus. -- There is handicap parking/access, and sign language interpretation at most Sunday services -- Sunday services: 7:30a, 11:30a, and 6p. -- Wednesday services: 6:30p. -- Alter calls every service. Came knocking on my door and waited, so i answered. Handed me a pamphlet, when my fiancé came out they noticed my ring and asked if i was married, I said engaged and i could sense the disgust from him and his buddy then changed the subject to praying over me, after this the rest of our conversation was awkward and then bragging about all the good things they do, especially for the homeless. I get that y’all have different ideas for marriage and whatnot but i did not sense a brother in christ, i sensed people who had a feeling of superiority over others. If these are the spokespersons for your church, this church is plagued with ego and pride. After reading over the reviews about how y’all treat the homeless my point was only solidified.
