Sutter’s Landing Dog Park — Attraction in Sacramento

It's really not a very good place to let your dogs go off leash. There are sticker weeds and lots of holes in the ground all through out the entire park. There is a Folf Course there so one ends up walking their dogs thru various areas that people are trying to play Folf on. Also the parking is not ideal. Residential housing is on one side of the narrow street making you only able to park on one side. Okay dog pen. Designed in the "prison exercise area" aesthetic with little shade or green. Sadly, they use concord grapes for the perimeter landscaping which are poisonous to dogs. So in all, a sad effort at a dog park which I am sure cost a lot of money but for all the money and effort could be so much nicer. You would think that people who bring their dogs to the dog park would have dogs that enjoy other dogs. This dog park, for whatever reason, draws a few people with anti-social dogs then proceed to get upset when your dog tries to play with them. Seems like a precursor to bringing your dog to a dog park that your dog plays well...
