McKinley Park Playground — Attraction in Sacramento

We have loved coming to McKinley for about 6 years now. A great park with a large and small playground. Lots to do here. It is not fully enclosed so you do need to pay extra attention to energetic ones as they can run out near the street. There is also a library right next door which is great. Be wary of some homeless that come and go around this park. Bathrooms are hardly ever clean in my experience so best to go before you come or bring your own...

This park have many ammenities, a lake which is full of gooses and ducks with ducklings, turtles, and other animals. The playground is huge! Tehere are plenty space for picnic and tables to spend the day there; also there is a Rose Garden that I didn't have time to visit it but I could see it was full of flowers! It's a beautiful place to go with children...

Such a great playground. My little one always make friends here, other parents are typically friendly here too compared to other playgrounds. Its kept up bery well. And when the kids are done playing, they get a kick out of the ducks and geese.

The only downside is the occasional homeless person...
