I went in this morning and right off the bat the barista was rude and did not even look up at me to take my order. I tried ordering a mocha cookie crumble and she cut me off saying she doesnāt know the ingredients to that drink. I proceed to tell her I have had it made in the past with no issue, maybe I was just pronouncing it incorrectly Iām not sure. She cuts me off again to state they donāt make drinks off the secret menu. I was then confused because now Iām thinking if that drink is part of the secret menu and if so why it was made for me in the past in that location. I try be understanding and order something else to move on from that situation because I was over it and frankly uncomfortable with the baristas attitude towards me. Once I give her my entire order she walks away from me and so now Iām just standing there awkwardly because usually the barista lets you know theyāll get started on your order or at least offers you your receipt. I was appalled at this point by her dismissive behavior towards me. My receipt was not offered until a couple minutes later when she remembered. Once my order was ready, I got it and left because my Starbucks trip was supposed quick and friendly as it usually ends but her dismissive and condescending attitude towards me really ruined my morning. Short Latina girl, and tall white guy with a hair net working had horrible attitudes. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I felt like they were mad at me just for being there.
