Perky Pelican Christmas Shoppe — Attraction in Saint Augustine

Wonderful shop with tons of beautiful ornaments and Christmas decorations. Loved seeing the German made, US made ornaments, along with other fine imported items. Some really unusual items, too. I think anyone that knocks this store is a humbug. Helpful and friendly owner along with EZ parking in the street right out front or just down the block. After walking around, sit for a couple minutes on the porch in the rocking chairs. But, watch the time as the free parking is only 30 minutes. I think you should try this shop. You'll like it!

I just noticed the review by Julie Lalla: Really?!? One star?!? Nice way to hurt a business for no reason. And you're supposed to be a big local guide. Sheesh, get real woman. Maybe a point deduction if you didn't personally like the selections. But, one star?!? You need to stop that. I give you a 1/2...

Last year we found this shop downtown with all the other little shops. We loved it. This year it was gone but once we looked on line we found it had moved. It is in a quaint old house right on the main drag going into town. This shop is fantastic. I spent way too much money there but it was well worth the treasures I got. She even had Halloween items, which I rarely ever find. We didn’t want to fight parking in traffic so we parked in parking garage and walked because there are a bunch of antique shops within walking distance of this Christmas Store.It was a fun morning and we ended up walking over to Burger Buckets for lunch. We will be back next year. The owners at this place are very patient and even allowed me to stow my purchases while we went shopping...

Lots of ornaments and three almost bare trees

I’m a huge Xmas person, so I had to go and see, but to my surprise... sadly I say, perhaps they’re waiting for Xmas to make this place a must see.

They had a lot of ornaments but when it came to trees, not much to talk about, their inventory only had about three and decorated they were not.

In July I was in Manteo and boy what a Christmas Tree Store there they have... and after you see the over 10,000 square feet of beautifully draped trees, everything else seems.... shamelessly, not the same.

I don’t know what they do for the holidays but I hope something better than what I saw... after all, they had at least 10 months to make that store look like a Beautiful & Magical Christmas Tree...
