If I could give this store a zero, I would! The staff is rarely friendly or helpful, and today we had our worst experience yet. Before driving there, I called to ask about dropping off a FedEx package to confirm they would accept our package based on size. The staff on the phone said they did not have a size restriction so husband loaded our heavy package (a couch) to take into the store. Once the package was unloaded and taken inside, the lady handling the FedEx counter rejected taking the package, was extremely rude, and even stated saying "It wasn't their fault" despite our previous phone call to the store. It was like she couldn't wait to decline helping a customer. Without any regard or care from Walgreens, we had to load the package again to take it home. I wish the staff would have been able to give an informed answer over the phone before we came into the store but I understand that everyone makes mistakes... However, the Walgreens team should know that just a little kindness with their customer service, could...
Read moreI got to the drive thru at 8:45 but was made to wait 10 minutes. When she finally came back to the window I explained that my husband had just gotten out of the hospital and needed these 2 prescription's right away. She said "We close in 5 minutes." Even though I reminded her that she made me wait, she still refused to fill the prescriptions and said "We open at 10:00 tomorrow." Well you were SUPPOSED to be open until 9:00 tonight not 8:55 or more like 8:45 when I actually arrived. She could not have cared less. Terrible customer service. EDITED: I went to Island Family Pharmacy the next morning. She said it would take 10 minutes to fill these 2 prescriptions. She filled them, I paid, and was in my car leaving the parking lot in 11 minutes. This was excellent customer service and made me even more upset at Walgreens because my husband had to go without his medication for no good reason. She had time to fill his prescriptions but...
Read moreJust wow, called to ask if I can have my prescription filled there from now on. I've been going to the same pharmacy for the last few years but unfortunately my doctor stopped taking my insurance so I will now be self pay, the medication will not be covered by insurance either therefore I'll have to pay for that as well. It's very expensive and Walgreens takes the goodrx coupon, my pharmacy does not, I may need to fill the prescription partial because of being self pay now. Walgreen's is closer to where I live than my other previous pharmacy. The lady was sorta rude and acted as if calling and asking ?? was a complete burden and she ultimately says I cannot tell you if we can fill the prescription or not. Ive gotten prescriptions filled there before so I'm in their system, it was a yes or no question, I have a prescription I will pay cash every month, I'm in your system can you fill my prescription, her answer was I have no...
