We saw the Vote for Pedro band on 07/03/17. The band was most excellent! Top-notch musicians, great energy, very engaging- kudos to whomever booked them. However, the venue's speaker/sound equipment quality was severely lacking. The sound engineer, Tim Eveker, was great though. He did the best with what he had. (I have seen him before over the years, including places such as Peabody Opera House, mixing national touring acts.)
The venue itself was nice. Not so much a real "venue", but more of a tented stage plopped down in the middle of the neighborhood park in New Town- a charming place that gives off a very "Stars Hollow"/Gilmore Girls kind of vibe. Plenty of vendors in walking distance. The market is across the street. A few restrooms near but they are not AC!
Plenty of parking but beware of locals and their golf carts. Roads are narrow which can be a pain/stress. Getting to and leaving is another challenge. Once here, it was pleasant.
