We came for story time and Betty started cleaning up as our kids were actively playing with the toys. One of my friends children started getting very upset because he couldn’t find a toy she put away. Then she got out the vacuum to do the play area while all of our children were playing in there. I had to announce to get your kids out because she was going to vacuum. We then moved our children to the car carpet, and she started picking up the carpet while moms and children were sitting on it! She took a toy from right in-front of my baby that he was playing with to put it away. I cannot understand why she would think it’s okay to take toys from children, or why she didn’t at least ask us to leave because she had to clean.. it was 10AM directly after story time so I’m not sure what was wrong. We then let our children crawl on the ground because she took the carpet away, and my child had black hands and socks from being on the floor, another crawler had black on his feet. Read moreThe Bridge is everything you could want in a neighborhood coffee shop — and then some. The coffee is consistently top-notch: smooth, rich, and made with care whether you’re grabbing a simple drip or a perfectly balanced latte. The staff are genuinely some of the kindest people you’ll meet — they remember names, take time to chat, and make you feel like part of the New Town family every visit.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with that perfect mix of cozy and lively. Whether you’re working remotely, meeting friends, or just enjoying a quiet morning on your own, The Bridge feels like home. Surrounded by the charm of New Town’s walkable streets and lakes, it’s hard to imagine a better place to start (or recharge) your day.

Read moreThis is definitely one of my favorite spots to come and study or have a meeting. It's a cute, little environment with a fair trade shop, a back room used for events and church services, and just enough chairs to work for everyone. The service is always spectacular and I always feel welcome and excited to get excellent coffee. Some of my favorite drinks are their white mocha and their plain coffees, however their best thing ever is their pumpkin chai latte that is spectacular (and I usually dislike pumpkin spice), and I hope they keep it year-round. I'm here about once a week...
