Writing this review is tough because the food here is absolutely amazing—but unfortunately, our experience last Friday was far from it.

My boyfriend and I sat on the patio, which was beautiful, and we were excited for our meal. Our drinks arrived quickly, and we placed our order right away: fried wings to start and two ribeyes for Ribeye Friday.

However, after an hour had passed with no food, our waitress finally came by and said she would check on our order. She returned a few minutes later, assuring us that our food was on the way. Another 20 minutes went by, and at this point—an hour and 20 minutes in—we were ready to leave.

Then, something truly unacceptable happened. I watched from the patio as our waitress ran inside, took a platter from another waitress who had already served it to a different table, and then brought it out to us. She even admitted to us that she had "stolen" our plate back. That was the last straw.

I went inside, flagged her down, and told her we just wanted to pay for our drinks and wings—we didn’t want our entrĆ©es anymore. She said she’d check with her manager and get back to us. Meanwhile, we finished our wings. A little later, she returned to say our steaks were just coming off the grill and asked if we wanted them boxed or brought to the table. We reiterated that we just wanted to leave, but she insisted that we take them since they were already being plated.

By the time the steaks arrived, we had been waiting for over an hour and a half. I only managed to eat a few bites and some of my baked potato—I was too frustrated to enjoy the meal. We asked for to-go boxes, but as I was packing up my leftovers, my box slipped off the table, sending my steak and baked potato onto the concrete. That was the breaking point.

Our waitress came back, saw me cleaning up the mess and crying, and simply took our plates without a word. No "Are you okay?" No "Can I help?" Not even an acknowledgment of what had happened. When she returned with the check, I honestly expected that some part of our meal might be comped, especially after everything—the long wait, the way our steaks were handled, and how she had admitted that she felt bad about the situation. But nothing. Not even after the accident.

I left feeling completely defeated. I used to love this place, and to be fair, the food, drinks, and patio were all incredible. But the service we encountered that night soured the entire experience. It’s disappointing when a restaurant with such great food failed this Friday so completely in customer care. Let me add came here on Super Bowl Sunday and customer service was amazing but Friday it was a...

10 toes down this is not the best place to congregate and have a good meal and drink. The owner has a problem communicating effectively orally.

He isn't the same person he was in Florissant, MO. Now I see why they ran him away and gave him many problems before he fled and moved to New Town. I figure it will not be long before he runs from here since he does things that aren't right.

He can be extremely rude, the food isn't all of that and the rib tips that I begged him to get are not tender. Most times he doesn't even smoke his food on the grill and he told me he cooks it in doors and it taste like it.

He seems to be very unorganized, you never know when he is going to be open even if he says that it will be open it depends if he has the staff an or if the building/trailer will hold up for business.

Many have stressed their opinions to me by saying everyone warned the owner of Bobaque about renting this trailer for it has many many problems and everyone who has leased it has experienced them, because it is a trailer not a building.

The best bartender is Jules and Colin who is no longer there. He can't keep staff and the ones that he get doesn't want to work and don't know how to mix a simple margarita. I would have kept the shack he was in down the street where he paid $400 monthly for rent like others said.

The best thing about this place is that you can smoke in his smoke room any and everything that you want and watch tv and communicate with others.

He doesn't have any organization in any way. He has told me many times that he is overwhelmed and I believe him. I tried to continue to tell him job well done, but it is really very much disorganized and he can't keep quality people to work, because I was told he has favorites and he doesn't pay good.

He loves giving food to a certain group of people to keep them coming, but never someone like...

Me & my husband saw this place on a food influencer’s page and were dying to go. Finally had the time, so we went a 55 minute drive I might add. The experience was horrible. Got seated and waited a hour before we were even offered drinks. Ordered what we came for which was the lamb chops with baked potato and baked beans. We were told they didn’t have any baked potatoes so we had to rethink our order choice. Waiter came back to us and I decided to go ahead and order the lamb chops anyway with the basic sides, she then tells me she found out they did have mash potatoes and asparagus, I’m like ok cool. Me and the hubby ordered that. Wish she would have told us the minute she found out instead of waiting. Waited another hour to get our food when it came out she only brought the lamb chops and told us they’re out of the mashed potatoes and asparagus. At this point me and my husband are boiling hot, you can’t be serious. She’s the one told us they had it only to come out without it. What are we suppose to do? Just eat meat, be for real. We asked to speak to someone, when she came out, I don’t know if she was the manager or what, but she seemed to careless about the situation and offered no apology. She proceeded told to tell us they do have the mash potatoes and not the asparagus. This is crazy, which is it ma’am? At this point we said FORGET it and got up and left. So excited to come here and support a black owned establishment just be treated like crap. EXTREMELY...

As I drove from Florissant to this establishment in St Charles the weather was great. Once I finally found it and got out of my vehicle I noticed the place and area looked great along with the R&B music playing as I entered. Upon entry I noticed an employee standing between the door where I just entered and a small kitchen window. Not wanting to bump into her I stopped and she said with folded hands and a familiar expression, ā€œcan I help you!ā€ My antenna immediately went up and I replied yes. I need to order, and a menu. She said you can scan this QRL on your phone to see pictures (which I don’t scan random QRL as a security measure) and we don’t have menu’s. I asked if they had brisket and she said yes so I asked for a brisket sandwich and an order of potato salad which I heard was good on YouTube. She said we don’t have potatoe salad today. I asked what she had for sides and she named off about four things and I picked onion rings. I paid $20.77 and sat down thinking I should have just not ordered and left because the atmosphere I originally perceived had ruined my experience with this lady already. I was given my order and drove about 20 miles back home and opened the food. I had six onion rings and five slices of brisket which was ok at best. I doubt that I will ever visit there again. No smiles. No interaction just get what you ask for and go is how I felt and that’s what I did.
