Cox Performing Arts Center — Attraction in Saint George

It's a great theater at Dixie State University. Everyone here I've talked to, students, spinsters, boosters, they all love the Dixie University name and all the talk about the name is political manipulation. It will be sad if it actually does through since this college isn't a tech school in any sense of the word. Politicians trying to change the name against the will of the heart and people of the town for their own gain and purposes. It's sad.

I've attended two completely different events in three weeks at this venue. A violin concert, and a tribute band performance. Both were quality productions. The seating is tiered, so I could easily see the stage despite taller people sitting in front of me. The acoustics were good, and the lines moved quickly. It would be 5 stars, unfortunately as I was picking up my daughter from her performance a high 40's looking woman in a white sedan decided it would be a good idea to speed up well over 30mph through the parking lot forcing me to hold my daughter and make sure she didn't hit us.
