The Sunbowl is a piece of St. George history, and for that I respect it. But it hasn’t been well-kept for years. They’ve done some renovations in the last decade (the bare minimum) but the stadium is still pretty trashy.

The events here are nice, but that’s no thanks to the venue.

If the Sunbowl wants to see another 50 years, it’s gonna need some serious renovation and expansion. If we can justify the expense for 1 rodeo a year, then I’m all for it.

Concourses are small, parking is horrible, no video boards, concessions aren’t well-placed, ticket booths are barely existent, no chair-back seats, horrible announcers booth, and the list goes on.

Also, its only practical use is the rodeo which brings in swarms of flies and stink to the area along with the horses and steers. The rest of the year it...

Went here for the I-15 Country Fest. It was not a great space for a concert. It’s run down and needs some renovating. No body showed up to the concert which could be due to the marketing but I wonder if it has something to do with people not likely the facility. One way or the other it couldn’t hurt to put a little money into making a nicer place. Chains hanging down where you enter the arena and you have to duck and step down at the same time. Honestly, it’s a...
