Tienda La Estrella — Attraction in Saint Joseph

I love this store since moving to Missouri I didnt know of a mexican store near by when i went to see what they sold it was like being back home. They almost have just about everything you need. From mexican bread to spices, candy, soda, pots and pans. They have common goods really good place to shop the staff is friendly and welcoming. I believe you can pay some kind of bills and possibly get money orders even send money to mexico or other places if need be. Just a great overall experience...

I went in search of Ancho and Guajillo peppers to make birria tacos at home. I was dissatisfied with the local grocery store options, so I went to the Estrella and was able to find everything I needed. There was a great variety of dried peppers, and the price was so much better than any local store. A bag of peppers were $4 at the Estrella, vs $12 at a different grocery store. The associate was helpful and answered any questions I had. Good experience, great options, great prices....
