Oak Hill Park is magical at Christmas time. The city puts lights on so many of the big trees, so the 1/2 mile walk around and through the park is beautifully lit up. The ice rink is huge, and the hockey rink is up, so plenty of room for all skating and play. There's also a warming house-- I'm not sure what the hours are for it, and I think the lights for skating might go off at 9pm...I recommend you check online if you go at night for the holiday lights and plan to skate. Read moreThis is a great 4-season park. I spend more time here in winter though because of all the ice skating options (warming house with how cocoa, pond for skating, hockey rink, and a long loop).
But just walking around the path after dark is lovely too because they put all different colors of lights up in all the trees. It's really magical.
Rent a picnic shelter in summer too! Lots of fun...
