I just happened to see her store while grabbing a bite nearby, parked by it unknowingly, saw the owner unloading some items, and was very tempted to say something. I literally had a flashback to when I worked in a resale shop years ago and she purchased an EXTREMELY heavy glass table from us and came to pick it up - without the appropriate help. She is in the business - and she knows better. She insisted, despite me saying at least 5 times - no. It was her, me, and her son - who at his young teen (maybe if yet) age did not look capable of holding his end of it, even though a bigger frame kid - but I thought well maybe, unfortunately my original assumption proved to be correct. She insisted that he could help and I caved after about the 6th time. My fault partly - for not sticking to my guns but her part primarily - like 99% - for being selfish and not accepting a no. I even explained to her that I had been injured in the past fairly recently due to assisting people ill prepared, and she did not care. She only cared about her needs. We always told people there to come with proper help, the management insisted we should not, and again - when in the business you know what sort of help you will need. She was not new at this. I will never forget the moment her son dropped his end on my foot, not only was it excruciating pain and crushed my foot, but it was a good solid year before it healed. She - never - apologized. It’s amazing how when people are disrespectful and involved in physically injuring you, how it sticks in your brain, like it was yesterday. Needless to say, I would not purchase anything from her and I believe reviews when people say she was rude and overpriced. I feel a type of release sharing my experience here and the saying you reap what you sow - is real. So be nice, considerate and respectful of others and if you don’t, don’t be surprised if it comes back to...
Read moreI don’t leave reviews for places, but this one I needed to share. Prices are waaaayyyy too high compared to other stores I’ve been to in the area. Some stuff isn’t marked and when I asked what prices of items it felt like they would price it higher than it would have been actually valued at. The stuff in there is pretty, but also many of the things they sell there you can find at your local savers for half the price. Overhearing that the owner just selling a bunch of stuff that they buy and don’t have space for also makes me feel gross buying anything because it feels like it’s just trying to flip a high profit off of their closet. I’ve been in their multiple times with the intention of leaving with something, but every experience in there has left me feeling unpleasant- either from the prices or feeling...
Read moreI happened upon this store one day and absolutely love it. It’s my favorite go to shop for unique vintage items. Take the time to really browse and you will find a treasure. If you appreciate vintage pieces and understand their value, you’ll find items to be reasonably priced. I highly recommend this store and am happy to be able to shop locally. Attaching pics of some of my...
