This is the first fish market I’ve been to since moving to Minneapolis, and I don’t see why I would ever go to any other. I met one of the owners (Michael) and he was very helpful and friendly. I had no idea what I wanted when I walked in, and happily left with some quality fish
I purchased a few small pieces of sushi-grade fish and cut it myself (albeit very poorly), which was very fresh and tasty. I don’t remember the name of the white fish (white tail tuna maybe), but it was my favorite by far

Read moreI drove for over 2 hours round trip to check this place out. I was hoping to buy some trout for dinner. When I arrived I was greeted by the staff. Very friendly!! I asked what trout they had and was informed they actually didn't have any. To say I was disappointed is an understatement!! The gentleman that was helping me apologized and said I do have some nice Steelhead trout. (Red meat more like salmon) But since I drove all that way I said I'd try it. I stopped into this fish market for the first time today, and I was blown away at how wonderful the manager was! Extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, and kind! He was also very patient, with me being a beginner with fish and making sushi ❤️
