The Sanneh Foundation — Attraction in Saint Paul

My son is on the autism spectrum and has ADHD that you can see from the International Space Station (I kid you not.) The coaches with TSF soccer camps have been amazing over the last two summers. However, this summer has proven that you can always reach to do better. Because of my kiddo's special needs, we have limited options during the summer and this summer there is, quite literally, nothing for him to do. Until soccer camp came around. The social distancing format is well done but it also met my son's special needs PERFECTLY. He is having so much fun. He's feeling so proud of himself. It's done a world of good for his mental health (because if autism and ADHD weren't enough, anxiety is a challenge under normal circumstances. )

At The Sanneh Foundation one feels a bustling whirlwind of positive energy! There is a lot going on in every corner of the Conway Center. Every member of the staff is happy, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The volunteers are happy. The kids are happy. Clearly Tony Sanneh has fostered an atmosphere of happiness and commitment to the vision/mission. While it can feel a bit chaotic to an outsider, it’s really not that way. Everyone knows their jobs well and executes them with joy. I am in awe of the feeling one gets there, one of love, inclusion, safety, and everyone working together for the common good. They do a lot for the community and beyond, from the mentoring at the virtual learning center to the massive food give-aways and more, and it’s a thing of beauty to witness. I highly...

I am reviewing this Foundation a Three Star because the foundation has been of very GREAT help to us in the Past, especially through its food distribution Program, at the Conway Recreational Center. We USED to be able to Survive from the Shelter. This was when you could visit the Center each week. Now, even visiting this Food Shelf twice a month, one cannot find anything reasonable. Mostly now, if you are lucky, you can get some rotten fruits, potatoes, and all strictly counted and rationed. I don't know if it's a new administration or those responsible no longer caring about its Community...
