The "park" itself has a VERY large open GRASS area so it will fit MANY teams to practice or play a variety of sports at once ie. Soccer, football, rugby, cheer field hockey, lacrosse, frisbee, frisbee golf. I saw courts and a1 maybe 2 water fountains in the direct sunlight. I do believe I saw an "out" bathroom, I didn't look. There are two bleachers that are semi covered.
DOWN SIDE
If someone is in a wheelchair if that ground is wet there is NÓ I mean NO way you are wheeling over to some of the areas to practice it's ALL grass., unless you got those special "beach" tires. Need a mobility scooter? Forget it you are stuck too. Need a walking aid? FORGET it. Everyone can hang out at the bleachers and watch ONLY directly in front of you. Expect to park far away and get ur steps in unless you park on the street. It's also confusing between the "Rec" and "park"

Read moreThis park is fantastic. The community center on site has some weird hours and isn't open every day of the week, but they have a lot of really cool things going on there, like Tai Chi classes. There is an outdoor gym with probably about a dozen exercise machines on the corner of the block on the 22nd Ave N side, all free to use. There is a cool water fill station and a water fountain. There are a few really nice tennis courts. Nice soccer fields too. The best part though is definitely the little 9 hole Disc Golf course that is PERFECT for Glow-in-the-dark Disc Golf. The only downside to this place is there are no restrooms once the community center closes. The park stays open super late during the week though. I've seen the tennis court lights stay on well past 11pm before. Good Job St Pete Parks & Rec! (Still would love to see a restroom or a potta-potty for after...
Read moreUsed to come here when I was growing up. It hasn't changed too much in a good way. There is a great playground that is fenced in for the kids and plenty of areas for dogs to run around and play as well. There is a baseball field that is great to play games in and a large enough park to run or walk around. At one end of the park there is a place that has an outdoor weight lifting area. Plenty of mature trees to offer plenty of shade and a good number of areas to...
