Remarkably SLOW service, with a nasty attitude thrown in for good measure!
I came in to the restaurant BEFORE the lunch rush. There was no one in line before me and only one other occupied table in the place. I ordered, paid my money, took my TIME STAMPED receipt and sat down. TWENTY MINUTES later a friend who had joined me and ordered a few minutes after I had, got up to ask where our food was, as it had been a LONG time since we ordered.
There was no apology for the long wait, just a bunch of excuses... low staff, lunch rush (no... I arrived BEFORE the lunch rush), and that there had been three on-line orders that were being worked on before I arrived.
IF you were in-the-weeds when I ordered, you should have told me so WHEN I ordered... not twenty minutes after the fact!
Another 5 minute wait saw my friend's food come out before mine... again, no apologies, although my food showed up shortly afterwards. IT WAS COLD (and it should have been HOT!!!)
When I returned the food, the counter person told me that it was impossible for it to be cold... it was just prepared! Sweetie, don't contradict me! I'm the one eating it!
If I hadn't been there to eat with friends, I would have insisted on a refund and left to find a better early lunch spot!
CONCLUSION: If you are in ANY kind of a time crunch... like you have a limited lunch hour... DO NOT eat here! You would be better off at a sit-down wait-staffed restaurant (and since they make it hard to pay WITHOUT leaving a tip for their poor counter service, you would not have even saved the...

Walk in looking for a meatless option and was EXTREMELY limited. I was hoping for some cool plant based proteins.... Nope
Went with the generic black bean burger no drink with a side of sweet potato "fries" for $10+. A little steep for something I could make at home for less than $4 dollars but I'm assuming it's going to be way better.
This was not a fast food option. Waited 15 minutes. Was informed there was no indoor dining. Got the food out the door finally and was severely disappointed.
Fries looked like microwaved carrot slices and didn't taste far off. Limp and slimy (yum). Bun was low quality whole wheat (more like colored cheap white bun), no actual whole grains. Lettuce was shredded bagged variety. Cheese was cheap american single slice. Black bean burger was lower quality than the frozen varieties you can buy at the store, also microwaved in texture.
Again, I could have made this for less than 4 dollars at home and frequently do with quality ingredients. And I don't use a microwave.
If you can't cook for whatever reason and are looking for someone to portion out your meals and aren't worried about quality or price, this is the place.
I could have made this at home cheaper, better, and faster. Honestly, this reminded me of grade school...
Read moreThe below occured 2 months ago. The same thing happened again on 8/11 & 8/12/24. i ordered & paid on line but the store never got it. No apologies orefforts to make me happy. If i choose to give them a 3rd try it will be with an order placed on the phone. 5/2024 I ordered and paid on line for 3 meals to be picked up the next day by my son. I even received an email confirming my order had been placed. My son arrived on time the next day and there was no record of our order at the store. He had to go through the entire ordering process, paying and waiting while the rest of our family waited for him to bring lunch. This was a significant inconvenience. I understand that mistakes happen. However, the mark of a good business is one that knows how to make things right with the customer despite an error. It is these kinds of corrective actions that can save customer relationships and earn loyalty. CleantetzStPete should have comped the order on the spot. Instead my son had to pay. I had to send documentation to the manager via email and await a response and ultimately a credit since the store had been paid twice, I asked for a $50 gift card but was countered with an ~ $6.00 credit which I did not receive. On the good side the food was decent and the portions wre very generous. Definately consider a smaller bowl then you normally...
