Good Vibes Kayak Rentals — Attraction in Saint Petersburg

I wanted give a shout out to Good Vibes Kayak Rentals, Starr Hoover, Sharon, Tiffany, and the rest of the crew helping out for the 2024 Tampa Bay Frogman Swim. This event was small at one time but has grown through the years. It's in support for the Navy Seal Foundation and Gold Star Families. I can tell you that trying to haul a tandem kayak over to Tampa/ St. Pete can be a pain. Someone mentioned this company and I reached out to them. I spoke to Starr and she listened to my specific needs for this event. Since I was supporting some current and veteran Seals, this was not something that could be messed up logistically.

Starr and her crew brought a bunch of kayaks for this event to Gandy Beach, which was the staging area. They dropped, tagged and prepped each kayak for each person using it. The only thing I had to do was show up on game day! Like I said, the logistics for this event are hectic, and if you mess it up, it affects many others. Starr and her crew got it right from the moment they dropped my kayak off, to the time they met me at the finish line at the American Legion Post 138 in Tampa. They were ready, helpful and punctual.

First off, let me say that I am not one to just write a review, so by me doing so, it means something.

I am blown away by the hospitality and kindness of this company and their employees. I just bought my first kayak and was super anxious about trying it out. I met Starr, a co-owner and she offered to help teach and guide me through all the questions I had about kayaking and better yet, without asking for anything in return!

I can't stress this enough. She offered time out of her day to help me get comfortable on the water with my own kayak. For FREE. She is one of the nicest people I have encountered in a long time. To see a co-owner acting so selflessly says everything about a company. I can guarantee her leadership skills flow down to her employees as well.

10/10 service! Not only are they super responsive and quick to communicate, but they also go above and beyond to accommodate our requests whenever possible .

You can bet on them being right on time every time. When you get to the dock, the kayaks are already there, all set and good to go, with life jackets included for your safety. Then, when you're done with your kayaking adventure, they'll actually swing by and picking up the kayak. Their suggestions and recommendations are spot on! These guys really know their stuff. It doesn't matter if you're a total beginner or a pro, they'll make sure you have an absolute blast out on the water....
