I checked out & then asked if I could have the restroom key as I had just drank a large iced tea. I never ask to use a store restroom btw. The employee said "No" w/ an attitude then said .."WE ARE CLOSING in 5 min." I understand that, I said, but I will be very quick, I asked if I could use it if I was quick. She said "No." JUST WOW. So as I am walking to my car in the front handicapped spot with my handicapped license plates, yes I am disabled....there was another customer getting out of her car & that same employee actually stuck her head OUT of the store door and said "We ARE CLOSING." That customer still walked to the door & asked "Isn't it 5 min till 9:00?" That employee said "Yes you have 5 min & we ARE closing." The customer walked in , looked for a minute & then walked straight out. I sat there & watched this whole thing & thought.... not only does that employee not represent Dollar General well, but it speaks volumes about how this particular employee does not value their customers. It was 8:50pm when I got back in my car, 8:55pm when the next customer was asking to come in & 8:59pm when she walked out. (without buying anything) Technically one minute later was their actual closing time. So this employee gave a bad impression to two customers, lost the business of one who walked out & made me never want to come back. I would be interested to know just how often this happens at this Dollar General. This employee needs to be retrained or seriously needs to find another...

Read moreMy husband went into this DG today to simply get some tylenol. He waited at the checkout for 10 minutes without once being acknowledged my an employee. He decided to sit the tylenol on the counter and leave. As he starts to walk out of the store 3 employees decided to pop up out of nowhere and accuse him of stealing and told him he needed to put what he took back. He showed them that he clearly had nothing but his keys and left. This is disgusting...
