The historic site is worth visiting, and the Ste. Genevieve City is very neat and beautiful. More importantly, the staff in the Visitor Center is very informative and knowledgeable. It is a coincidence that we have met him at another National Historic Site in St.Louis before. Again, we have learn many thing from him, and my son also got a badge there. Due to my English level, I made a mistake and missed the Bolduc tour. Anyway, we visited the Centre for French Colonial Life, which is small museum but exhibit each aspect of settler's early life.

Nice little welcome center in the historic district of Ste Gen. The staff were very nice and informative. Kind of a small museum mixed with a tourism board. You can purchase a historic site passport here that will get you in to 6 of the the local sites. Includes 5 houses and the city museum. Cost is $15 a person, but if you don't purchase it, you pay individually at each place. If you are a walker, all sites are walkable.

One of the newer things to see in Ste Genevieve is the many murals. Local artist Kenzie Wolk has painted some of them and Craig Thomas painted one of the most recent additions. These works of art make for a more interesting visit to the downtown area of Ste Genevieve. If a few more are added over time. It could be interesting to add finding all of the murals as part of a walking tour of the downtown area of Ste Genevieve.

the st. Genevieve Welcome Center is a nice place to visit it should be the first on your list when you come to Ste Genevieve.. the attendant there will tell you about any of the places that you're going to visit in St John. There's also Museum cases that allow you to see different things that they have on display. There's a calendar of events there that will allow you to see exactly what's available through the year as far as entertainment or participation. My friends and I were there for the chocolate walk. We had a wonderful time and I can't wait to do this...
