The woman who owns this place does not intend for children to stay there. She never met me in person and was extremely rude via text. I decided not to review her because I didn’t have anything good to say about her, her cabin was freezing, and I don’t typically write negative reviews for anything or anyone. i just discovered she wrote ME an Airbnb review stating that I trashed her place. Her basis was that the trash was full. She states it was “overflowing“ and I will admit that certain boxes were sticking up out of the top of the trash can but there was absolutely nothing on the floor. So this woman does not like children and she does not like you to leave trash at her place even if you put it in a trashcan. And the trash that we did leave was nothing but empty plastic muffin boxes. I think she could not stand the thought of muffins being eaten in her cabin by children. I even wiped everything down and made sure that all of the trash was in the trashcan but she did not like how full it was. She was also angry that we used one extra bed than she expected and she apparently has to pay her cleaning lady per bed. I think when someone stays at your place, you want to change all of the sheets because you never know where they slept. Anyway, I made sure all of the beds we used were turned down so they would get washed, and when I found out that she was counting on us only using two beds, I paid her extra money voluntarily. And she still wrote me a bad review. So rude. And you never know if your bed was cleaned after the prior guests because she apparently doesn’t pay her cleaning lady to replace sheets on beds that...

Hi, this past week I made my first purchase at sassafras creek originals and I chatted briefly with the owner who is a lovely person. I trusted the site instinctively and I’m not a trusting person. I ordered a cardinal cookie cutter so I can remember my mom at the Holidays, a beautiful puzzle of Salem for my niece who is crazy about the town and I took a chance with a Sangria blend. Everything came in a timely manner and the purchase process went smoothly. As soon as I opened the carton, I saw she had packed my items carefully and the scent of the Sangria spices are delicious! My receipt is clear and has every detail I could need. I really appreciate the care you put into my purchase and wish for you every success. I ordered online from Kandye's store after watching her youtube channel, Cabin Crafts , the Friday before the 4th of July, when the owner wasn't in town. My order came the following week! Kandye packed the box ensuring nothing was going to break, (nothing did), and used decorative paper to wrap each item. It felt like a gift, not an order! Such personal touch. The quilted runners were just as shown, the tin ware and folding mirror are for re-enactments and look great as well as being functional. I got several things and will order again! Sooo wish I could visit the store, but it's a 12 hr. drive, so I'll just hope others who do visit leave their comments, reviews, and photos of this...
