Salon Salado — Attraction in Salado

Worst experience with an owner of a salon! Very rude over the ph! Had an appt but cancelled it! I could say more but I’m not! Well the owner left me no choice but to let people know exactly how our conv went. I wasn’t sure where the salon was located. I knocked on the door of the salon, no ans. So I called… this is how it went. I said hello this is Cathy Sandage & I have an appt at 1:00. The owner responded telling me its 12:36 ur early & I’m at lunch I’m on medication & I have to eat. I said I’ll wait in my car. She also said I have to eat my Apple before I get there. She then preceded to tell me she was tired of people calling her during her lunch. I did say I was sorry. She never mentioned she was at a restaurant. So I said just cancel my appt & I hung up. I returned to my car thinking to myself this lady didn’t have to be so rude so I called her back & said that to her. Her reply was that she was at ER yesterday with shingles!!...

I took my daughter there to have her hair done for her junior prom, and she left in tears. All my daughter wanted was half up/half down with beachy waves, and she was fumbling around the whole time. At one point, I had to get up and help her. Instead of her admitting she didn't know how and couldn't do it, she blamed my daughters thin hair or how she parts her hair, etc. When I saw my daughter start to tear up, I said I think it's time to go. She got an attitude with me and said it wasn't her fault. I ended up having to take the apron off my daughter, and we got the heck out of there. I fixed my daughter's hair and it was beautiful! I am so very pleased with how fantastic my daughter’s Ombre’ Hair coloring looks. Susan did an exceptional job with giving my daughter the lastest style she wanted and providing professional coloring that not only delivered fabulous color but kept my daughter’s hair soft and healthy. My daughter has very long hair and Susan took great care and patience in coloring, cutting and styling it.
