Bushs Chicken — Restaurant in Salado

This meal was just plain gross! I ordered the 8 piece gizzard meal. When I bit into the second gizzard it tasted bitter and had grit in it. I spit it out on a napkin and upon examination I could see there was green mush in the gizzard and what looked like seeds. I picked up another one and when I tore it open it also had green grit in it! I threw the rest of the meal out. I saw the manager in his office and walked to the door to try to tell him about it. He just told me to get back in front of the counter. We left without comment with me rinsing that very bitter bile taste out of my mouth and spitting as we walked to the truck. I've consistently been disappointed with this location. The last time I went in, I wanted dark meat and I was told there wasn't any ready. ..they had just sold the last of it. There were three very young employees lounging in the dining booths joking and laughing.... obviously not working. No one offered to get up and fry any new chicken, which IMHO, they should have done when the order taking the last of the cooked chicken was placed. Okay so English not very well the day I went I was extremely upset that had a very bad day but but you had a server by the name of Melissa who is extremely detail-oriented and friendly she was quick at her job and she made no errors she got my food to me promptly with my change and treated me like I was an individual and comfortable like she was my friend it made my day.
