Watch out this place likes to steal money from you. My wife bought some stuff that her total was 20 something dollars we had 19 dollars on 1 card and was suppose to get charged 2 more dollars on another card.. Well turns out next day cashier says you owe me 7 dollars, why when we paid more then our total, huh Robbie? No you owe me money.. Anyway 1 week later my wife goes up and gets some more items this time we paid cash same cashier and total comes out to 24 dollars she calls me up after leaving store and tells me the total I told her to go back In and question the total. Turns out they have a beer that rings up as wine we got money refunded back that day still waiting on owner to get back to me almost 1 month later on our first time we got over charged and accused of owing more money… Lost our business for good beer is cheaper else where if you...

update - 2022: Horrible experience. I have shoppped the aisles at American Market, formerly Capital Market, for beer and ciders for over ten years. I have frequently had my childeren with me. Tonight my youngest daughter, who happens to be 20, was ID'd, even though my purchases were for me and my of-age family members. The clerk's logic was that because my minor daughter was with me, that she is also shoppinng. Funny, that hasn't been the case during any of our other countless visits, as far back as 2012, when my youngest was 9. Absolute waste of time tonight. I've probably spent close to $10k here over a dozen years, but tonight was told I cannot complete my purchase, and cannot purchase alcohol at this store for the next 24 hours. I WILL NOT BE BACK. This company is listed on the state's website as a place that rents monthly parking permits. I called a month in advance to ask if they had monthly parking passes available, and person confirmed that they should have them available during the next month when I needed it. The day before I planned to go in to purchase the pass I called to confirm they were still available. The person refused to give me a straight answer and wouldn't say whether he had parking passes available. He asked what size car I had (something I had already told him) and I confirmed it was a small car that could fit in any space.
