Had the absolute best time on my first bar crawl/ghost tour in Salem today with my two best friends! Our guide, David, truly made the experience special. From the moment we started, his energy, humor, and knowledge pulled us all in. Born and raised in Salem, David’s storytelling felt authentic and personal!. He took us through the haunted streets of Salem, weaving together chilling ghost stories and little-known facts that I’d never heard before even though I’m from MA myself. It was clear that he knew his stuff, but he also had this way of delivering the information that kept us engaged and laughing the whole time. His natural charm and wit added so much to the tour. The stops at the bars were a blast, but what made it even better was how David tied each location into the city’s history. You’re not just visiting bars, you’re learning about haunted pasts and hidden mysteries while enjoying some great drinks along the way which was amazing. It was the perfect mix of spooky fun and socializing. I walked away with so many new facts and a deep appreciation for Salem’s haunted history. I can’t wait to do this again! If you’re in Salem and want a guide who is as passionate about the city as he is knowledgeable, David is your guy. He truly made our night an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun, spooky, and insightful experience. I can’t wait to do this again! Thank you David!!

* EDIT ADDED AT 3:30 PM after seeing owner comment*** If you don’t have an employ named John then why did I get a text from a guy saying his name is John asking to meet at the same place & time your website prompted us to go to?? Pictures attached. Now the lying and not taking ownership. Big red flag! SAVE YOUR MONEY. I even texted the number and JOHN texted back that he DOES work with Salem Ghost. I am attaching proof. It was our first time visiting Salem. We were excited to get a tour of the town. Our tour guide, John was standing there just nodding off at the location we were told to met at for the start of the tour. We thought it was weird but whatever, we carried on and the tour started. He never actually went in front of the places we were looking at. He’d go far across the street so it wasn’t like we actually were checking out these places. His head set did not work well so we couldn’t even hear him. He was practically running so it was hard for us to keep up especially pushing a 3 year old in a stroller. We ended up calling the tour short because we were so disappointed on how terrible it was esp for the money we spent.

During our two hour walking tour, we stopped at so many more significant places around Salem than I ever thought we would be able to get to in two hours. Our tour guide John was excellent giving us a wealth of information and going at a pace that was comfortable for all. A nice, small group (only 5 people!) during our 3pm tour on July 3rd. I learned so much about Salem's history (so much more than just the witch trials part, which was perfect for the type of tour we were looking for!) and architecture, and so would highly recommend for all who are looking for an authentic walking tour. (ALL the facts presented matched perfectly with the brand new, special Salem Witch Trials exhibit that just opened at a local museum, which we visited a few days after our tour). It was a long, hot walk, much of it on uneven surfaces, so be sure to arrive prepared with comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen & a brimmed hat. There was great communication via text leading up to the tour as far as tour timing, starting location, contact name & number, etc. Thank you John!

I can't believe how amazing this ghosts tour was! It completely exceeded my expectations! The tour guide was so eloquent and added the perfect amount of drama to the ghost stories. She was captivating. I never thought about Salem being haunted because everything is sbout witches. But yes, there are haunts. I was surprised when the bed and breakfast I was staying in became part of the tour. And yes my room is haunted! I did this tour on a whim and it was very cold that night but the guide kept us moving. I also got to use an EMF detector for the first time ever and the tour guide gave us flameless candles. It was the highlight of my Salem experience.

I managed to make it to Boston for a last minute visit with my brother. I booked a walking tour in Salem for us because I love witchy things and I have read quite a bit about the Salem witch trials. There was no way I was going to MA without making it to Salem especially during October. I enjoyed the tour very much and found my tour guide to be factually correct on the tidbits she shared with us throughout the tour. I loved it and I can’t wait to come back to Salem with my husband and son. I’d love to stay at the Salem Inn and hopefully see a ghost or have a paranormal activity! Thanks Ruthy for a fun tour.

A chilly evening after dark was the perfect setting for this historic chilling tour through the history and historical locations of Salem. Our guide was Geoffrey. He was funny, informative, and approachable to anyone and everyone who might have questions. We got the extended tour, an additional four stops, and it was well worth it. Had we not, my wife would not have gotten to see what ended up being her favorite location. Thank you to our Guide, and to Salem Ghosts for this informative, fun, and albeit spooky tour. I will share one picture that seemed a little off. Look in the top floor window on the right.
