Day-Riverside Branch — Attraction in Salt Lake City

~The staff here are completely amazing and so helpful each and every one of them!! {with the exception of the an elder lady with glasses and dark hair and always wear tons of gaudy jewelry that try's to match her outfits- she's the only exception to this library outstanding customer service by staff-- she's very rude & hates to help or be bothered from her computer screen!} ~My only complaints are:

1. Their book selection, they have a very slim selection due to it being a small library, and have next to none reguarding laws, policies, government and things of that nature & its factual basis. PLEASE GET MORE IN THIS GENRE!!
2. Their drinking fountain is broken and has been for months! PLEASE GET THIS FIXED ITS A NECESSITY IN THIS AREA AND ALL LIBRARIES! ~HOWEVER, I love there free kids meals daily, their free kids/teens activies, their free books selection (updated almost daily), their free womens famine products in the bathroom, and their kids...

This is such a cute library. Everytime I go there is always an activity going on, especially for younger children and adolescents. They have a good selection of fiction for adults, teens, and younger readers. Their selection of Spanish material is the best I've seen out of any other library in the valley. I love seeing the children there, sometimes I have to step over or around them because they're so focused on their reading and they just plop down on the floor where they find a book! But I don't mind, kids are reading!! The staff is wonderful and have always helped me out when I've needed help. The electronic return system they have is awesome and has saved me from being late on some materials when I've cut it close a few times! The summer reading program is awesome, they even have a program for adults! I love...

They're great. They always print my documents in a timely manner. If not I simply can call in and they'll get it done promptly. One lady refused to give my cousin my prints and asked her to login to my email. I wish I was there because whoever it is clearly is an idiot because I've been sending in my library card number by email and had no issues for the past 4 years until this past week. They're all sweet the librarians here. And one of them recently posted in our community page asking for help to help a teen or younger adult that was ashamed bc they had torn up plastic shoes. They treat all the homeless like human....
