My experience has been very bad with this company and specifically this store for 3 days now. Some things they don't tell you until after it is too late. If you are getting a phone from them, you won't be able to unlock it for a year. Also I was forced into a $50 a month plan where I wanted the $25 a month plan I was told by Ahsly that I could change my plan after one month. Eduardo had it down that I didn't pay my first month until the next day when I called them about it to get it fixed. I go to the store to see if I can change it and they say I have to be with the current plan for 3 months. Ahsly lied to me. And when I talked to her about it she asked if I had it recorded and then said it was my word against hers. I don't know what to do exactly but I don't like my experience with boost so far and the people at this store are liars. Boost customer service is a little better. So it's better just to work with online order and customer service over the phone. My phone didn't work the whole first day. A customer service rep told me I would be compensated for the delay. I doubt it. But we shall see. I should've just bought an unlocked phone at best buy and stayed with mint mobile. Been calling them every day for the last three days. Maybe it will get better... So far that's a no. Will update if...
Read moreI strongly recommended against patronizing this location. A package addressed to my son ended up here after we were not at home to sign for it (they are a UPS "access point".) Retrieving it was a giant fiasco involving multiple phone calls to UPS to verify their ID requirements for access point package pick up, printing said requirements directly from the UPS website, and being told by the store that they "don't follow those rules, they follow their own." (Wha?) The store wanted me to produce a government issued photo ID for my 8 yr old. UPS's rules allow pick up with a complete address match on a picture ID (my driver's license) + the tracking number. The store refused to honor this. I finally brought my 8 yr old in with his passport, which I was told was "really over-dramatic". (Again, wha?) Additionally along the way I was asked, "Why's he even ordering stuff if he's 8" (he's not, it's a Christmas package from his Aunt) and "Why I have a different last name if I'm really his Mom" (is it the 1950s?) I also had the package physically ripped out of my hand by an employee when I dared to pick it up from the counter before signing. In short, the employees I encountered were bizarrely rude. Hard pass on...
Read moreMy screen shattered today with my current phone. I've been wanting to change my service for at least 2 years now. I'm changing my review I wasn't sure if I wanted to switch service today because of the cost and the fact that I wasn't prepared financially to pay. (I didn't plan for my screen to shatter) I was told by Natalie that she could give me a free case. I ended up getting my service changed and ported my phone number. She then tells me afterwords that they were out of cases for my phone. I asked when they'd get some in and if I could pick one up. She said yes and to call on Tuesday and the manager could assist me. I spoke to Natalie today and what she told me last week changed. The manager wasn't available until tomorrow afternoon. I'll be going there in person as this is poor customer service. If this is how they treat their customers, then I don't want their service and will take my business somewhere else. Also, I was specifically asked to leave a 5-Star review and then wanted to take a...
