They don't say it on the website, but for this KOA, you have to double secure your items due to it's location being in the middle of downtowns homeless population. Better safe than sorry.
Then they expect you on your last night to leave your vehicle in their guest parking when you leave in the morning and have already been there 5 days prior... that was just annoying. We understand the grass situation, but it rained, and unfortunately, there was nothing we could do about it, but we tried to be considerate having a bigger truck and parking right up against our camper so others could go through, which many did without a problem. If we had our correct reservation, then it would not have been an issue.
Spaces are tight.
Bathrooms were clean, and showers were nice.
Dog Park was decent sized, but not a lot of areas to walk your dogs due to the closeness.
The location was horrendous.
They messed up our reservation on top of it.
If you have the opportunity to stay somewhere else, do it because you're not getting the beauty of the mountains. Instead, you're getting sirens, people yelling in the middle of the night on the street, and train horns.
Now the workers were very nice and were very helpful. I want to give them credit for making the best out of the location that they have and keeping it...
Read moreThis is an excellent choice for us here in Salt Lake City. Shaded lanes offer a respite from the sun. Amenities like pools, jacuzzis, game room, onsite store with coffee and donuts each morning. Our last two RV parks were adjacent to the interstate highway and the noise added to our travel stress. While this location is several blocks off the interstate, it provides a relaxing environment. Full hookups. Back in and pull through sites with 30 & 50 amp service. The central location is convenient to go to most anywhere...
