I've only been here twice so far, but that's mostly because I consider myself something of a sandwich artist. (When I want a sandwich, it's going to be very specific and done to my tastes! So I usually just make them myself at home.) That being said this is a great sandwich place for what I'd call the traditional American sandwich! These things are HUGE. (A 6" is more than enough for one person!) The bread is fresh and soft, while still being firm enough to hold up. The ingredients, while maybe a little simple, are fresh AF. I mean, you can tell that their stuff isn't sitting around in some sad bin all day like some other sandwich places. I've only tried their cold sandwiches so far. But both have been really good. The hot sandwich menu looks pretty awesome though! I'm definitely going to have to come back to try the Philly. (People be raving about it.) For my tastes (and I'm very picky) the meats are sliced a little too thick. But the pastrami was tasty and like I mentioned, I've been very impressed with how crisp and fresh the toppings taste! This place is a little tricky to find. They don't have good signage. You'll really have to trust Google Maps to know you've found the spot. It is SERIOUSLY hard to tell that there is a thriving sandwich shop tucked in behind the door. (Look for the lighted OPEN sign) but even with that it can be hard to tell where they are exactly. I know running a small business is tough, but they'd do well to get some signage up. Something out on redwood would help as well!

This is seriously one of the BEST hidden gem sandwich shops I've EVER been to. I'm not even talking Salt Lake specific, just in general. I don't say "hidden" gem lightly, as there is no sign above the door and it's very low-key, but well worth the hunt to find the place. The owner is a super nice guy, and the service is second to none. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be working there, and the food is TOP NOTCH. They use these super soft and tasty sandwich rolls which are baked fresh daily, apparently! The soda fountain is perfectly tuned for a proper balance of syrup and carbonation. I highly recommend the (hot) steak and works, or the (cold) club sandwich. The atmosphere is awesome with good music and some really cool vintage Star Wars decor. I'll be sure to update my review with more pictures next time I'm there, because I will certainly be a regular after my awesome experiences here. It does get pretty busy around lunch time, but if anything that just speaks to the level of quality in both the food and service, as I waited less than 10 minutes to be served even in a lunch rush. Can't stress it enough, this place RULES!

Honestly, the cashier Man was super rude and impolite. I was referred by a friend so Invited my coworkers to walk over from work. The atmosphere was awkward. I ordered A 6in Turkey add avocado for (2.49$) I received very little almost none existent amount of avocado so I took my sandwich to show him and ask for more. He was so bother with me and upset I said anything argued with me that it's on there.. then finally gave me a side a avocado and let me know if received such little amount because it's called portioning. I said thank you and sat with my coworkers to eat feeling embarrassed while him and his coworkers gossip about me and the situation to make us feel more uncomfortable. It's unfortunate because the sandwich tasted fine after I got my avocado however none of us will be visiting again. For the price the "portions" aren't worth it. Good customer service would've made up for that.

Called in an order for myself and mom and the woman who answered didn't have a pleasant, tone - she sounded like I was bothering her and was in a rush to get me off the phone. Customer service is always my first impression of a new place I visit. The woman I spoke with said our order would be ready in 10 minute. Upon our arrival (this was about 15 minutes past the time they were supposed to be open), their doors were locked - I had my mom who is disabled/visually impaired and when things like that happen, she has a really hard time. The man who opened up the doors also didn't have a welcoming personality at the least, he should have apologized for us having to wait - He was nice afterwards though. There was one younger employee who was welcoming from the beginning, had a smile and pleasant and had it not been for her, I would have left 2 stars. Now the sandwiches: I enjoyed the sandwiches, the bread was great. My mom thought they were to salty and after she said that, I also noticed but it's nothing that would keep me from enjoying it myself. The meat and fixens tasted good,...
