It was these approx 150 reviews with 4.9 stars that made be visit the shop on my recent visit to Utah but left me completely disappointed. The owner Mary doesn't reflect the ethos of the charity she runs which she claims to help homeless people. I felt like I had walked into a designer store, most items didn't have a price tag and when I asked the lady for the price she would take a pic on her ipad, check online how much it was selling for and quote me the price, at times she ended up snatching things from my hands saying I'm not selling this. I spent almost $300 at her store even though at one point I felt like leaving everything and walking out, it was her volunteer friend that saved the situation by showing some kindness and respect.. How do i believe that she treats homeless people with any dignity if she was treating a customer with so much aggression? She did welcome me warmly and I was happy to be there but didn't like the way she handled the sale. She has good stuff but if I wanted to spend the same price as the shops then why would I visit a thrift shop in the...
Read moreThis place has many great items, but my experience here was not great.
I visited the store a couple days ago and found a frame that I really liked for $25. When I went back to purchase it today, I asked the man about it, and he said he wasn't sure if was if it was actually for sale. Then he said he needed to call his sister to confirm.

The painting in the frame, not in good condition, was coming up about $250 on one website. On others it was way less expensive. But the image itself in the frame was nowhere near good condition. He kept reiterating that it was very expensive and didn't give me an opportunity to purchase it.
Be careful that you're not overpaying for something that is not...
Read moreWow! To say this place is a total gem would be an understatement!! We have been working to be more intentional about supporting black-owned businesses in our communities, and sought out this little shop an hour north of our hometown. And what an absolutely JOYFUL experience we had!! Mary and Dottie had us laughing and dancing as we made our way through all the beautiful wares that fill this place from wall to wall. The vibe they have created here is truly lovely. Patrons were dancing and interacting with one another and the overall energy was something special. We stayed much longer than we’d intended and found some gorgeous, well-priced items to take home with us. We left with hugs and a feeling as though we’d made some dear friends. Can’t...
