First time I've ever rented skis anywhere and this place was great from start to finish. I brought my family from Dallas Texas and there was me, wife and four kids. I had not skied in 25 years and none of the rest of my family had ever skied before. Prices were great! I even made the mistake of accidentally leaving my skis and poles at the ski resort overnight, basically on the side of the road and when I came in to tell the owner, he said it happens a lot and he just gave me another pair of skis and poles and just told me to be sure to bring the other ones back because they would probably still be there. Thank God they were exactly where I left them but these guys were awesome and every way possible, I'm going to be coming back in 2 weeks for more skiing and I will definitely use...

Big Powder ski shop is by far the best the ski shop I’ve ever shopped at! When coming out to Utah I didn’t want to bring all my skis with me so I found Big Powder to rent from while out here. They were incredibly helpful as I booked online and was looking to rent a specific ski which they set aside for me! In addition to all this they were more than happy to help me play around with skis and allowed me to swap out what ski I had if they had it another one I wanted to try available, which was huge as the forecast changed and I was in need of a thicker ski. The prices of rentals you can’t beat either as they are a fraction of the cost anywhere else and come with worker with loads of knowledge willing to help answer...

This really might be the best place to rent ski gear. I’ve rented from a few places around SLC and I kinda hate getting a sweaty damp pair ski boots. Maybe it’s just luck but at Big Powder the gear is really nice and it’s always dry

In fact I’ve gotten the same pair of boots and skis every time. it’s nice to have some consistency when renting equipment. The owner is super chill and will let you come pick up the evening before. I have no complaints about this place
