Reflections Salon ✂ — Attraction in Salt Lake City

Edit: i’m adding text messages from my exchange with the provider as the response was just not true. As you can see, there’s no mention of an emergency. I booked this appointment three weeks in advance and was only contacted two days before. I work full-time during the week and could not do this appointment during the week. She did not offer the next night. She offered Friday, which was a weekday and other weekdays. She also offered the following Saturday and I was out of town the next Saturday. Nowhere in my response was a rude or aggressive. I kept everything professional. I was frustrated that I was getting a cancellation two days before. I will be contacting the Salon about this because this is ridiculous.

I would put this as a one star, but I don't want them to remove my review. Three weeks ago I scheduled four services (Eyebrow lamination, eyebrow wax, eyebrow tint, lash tint/lift) for a Saturday afternoon because I work fulltime during the week and I knew this appointment would take awhile. Today, less than 2 days before my appointment, the stylist Ashley texts me to move the appointment to Friday/Monday/Tuesday or next Saturday. I can't do weekdays for long appointments and I'm out of town next Saturday (which doesn't really matter but I wasn't being unreasonable). The reason she gave me was that I was her only appointment that day and she needed to help family. 3 weeks! I had this booked for 3 weeks! This is probably the fourth beauty provider that has done this same thing to me in Salt Lake City (book an appointment and then text me to reschedule to fit their schedule). Honestly, I don't mind if it is within an hour or if there is an emergency but to say that I'm their only appointment and they have other stuff to do? Flabbergasted. I have events coming up and needed these appointments and now I have to scramble to find someone that I can trust to do a good job in the next few days. I was having a bad day and was very depressed. They were able to take me in at a short moment's notice. Rachel cheered me right up. I didn't feel out of place like I've felt other places. I've been going to Ashlie at reflections salon for over a year now. She so awesome and very affordable. She's quick and efficient and really good at what she does. The salon is very clean and everyone there is very professional. Ashlie is so fun. I think my favorite experience was when I was getting my monthly wax down in the middle of summer and she gave me a Popsicle! Not only did it help beat the heat but made me laugh!
